How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

coffee table not maintained.
breakfast was good,first day everything was good. seconde day everthing went wrong confusion,cold food,bad staffing problems,poor management overall, no one really cared everyone was pissed or somthing. I would have taken another option and would have done so the next day.

It was billed as having a restaurant but that is not factual. There is a restaurant next door under different ownership but it is basically only open for breakfast (only opens at 8.00am) and lunch. Not open in the evenings.
Location was perfect for Downtown Memphis. Very stylish hotel with very comfortable room.

Shower water pressure
4 blocks to Beale, not a bad walk at all, felt safe going in that direction. QVery nice lobby and easy parking. Shower water pressure wasn't very good, no coffee in the morning, she was in no rush to make it and hot water was cold! The morning we checked out, the girl was very pleasant and nice compared to the others. All in all we would stay again

There was no literature available about nearby restaurants. We had to research that ourselves.
The room was very clean. I liked the decor and attached parking garage.

The pool and restaurant was not open. It would’ve been nice to be able to get something to eat on-site. I did not like the fact that you have to pay for parking. Especially daily.
It was near Fedex Forum which was the main reason for our trip to Memphis. The vibe and music was great. The staff was exceptional and very welcoming.

I didn't like the fact that I had to pay fir parking the sign said 22.00 dollars for overnight but when I went to pay for parking it charged me 33.00 dollars I also didn't like the fact that it was no restaurant on the property and that it was no breakfast
I liked the price the location and the cleanliness of the rooms everything was good

TV remote didn't work, desk brought one up but it wouldn't turn TV on or off or control the volume, but it did change the channel.

The fridge only worked part of the time and we never received new towels or sheets, also the room was exactly clean just sort of gone over.
The location in down town was wonderful as was the comedy club in the basement.

The plug in the bathroom kept popping the circuit breaker and cutting off the power to our room. This happened 3 times.

The hotel was not as upscale as I expected. I am familiar with the Dallas hotel which is much nicer. When we arrived there was no bellhop to help. The desk gave us a key to a room that was occupied! We opened the door and found another guest things. That could have been terrible if they had been standing there. The next key was a room and it did not work. we returned to the desk a 3rd time and were given a 3rd room which did work. We were given a complementary breakfast for the trouble which was good. We were never greeted by any staff when entering or exiting the hotel.

I would rate the room 7/10. The room was cozy but there was a hole in the shower. There was stains on the comforter. the bath cloth had someone hair on it. Although you can tell the bath cloth was washed in cleaned but it was not that hotel white clean. It looked dull white.
I did not order room service, but I ate at the diner next to the restaurant. I would give it a 2/10. The food was not good yet extremely expensive. A cup of soda was 5 dollars. The room was cozy for me and my husband only staying for a weekend. The front desk clerk, (can not remember her name but she had the dreads) was a vibe. She was very welcoming and down to earth.

Location was a little run down and the bar and restraunt attached were not in fact run by Hotel indigo and seemed to run its own hours such a shame other than this it would have been 10/10 pool area was also not open whilst appreciate pool is seasonal somewhere to sit out and use pool terrace would have been nice
