We had a very nice stay, though I do feel like we got the "Booking.com" room (205) as it was more outdated than others, right on the housekeeping service closets, and had little way to block out the security lights from the corner which shone brightly into the bathroom and sitting area. Some curtains could help with this. A newer fan could also enhance the stay, the current fan has seen better days and makes a lot of extra noise. Had a nice time regardless and may consider again, but would probably book directly and be more specific about my needs.

Amazing location! Huge room! Super comfy bed with soo many excellent pillows! Gorgeous spa tub and fabulous shower. We just loved our room! The whole building was beautiful, with little gardens and plants all over. The staff was great! Very professional but also friendly and welcoming. Each person we engaged with stood out in some way. And oh my- the breakfast on the sun deck! Delicious food and coffee with the most amazing ocean view! The gentleman running the breakfast was on point- he even ran down to get us a bottle of champagne when we mentioned mimosas! This place is the opposite of a cold, fancy, cookie-cutter hotel. All personality and charm with subtle luxury. By far, favorite hotel I've ever stayed at. We will be back!

When we showed up we were told our reservation was cancelled. A slight mix up that they made up for by putting us in a better room and offering us an even better room for our second night.

The staff was amazing!!! Very friendly and polite something you don't always see. From the Front Desk to the 2 guys (sorry didn't get their name) serving breakfast. They treated you better than a restaurant. Plus, the amenities they provide from beach chairs, umbrellas to water and snacks. You can't get that usually. They go an extra mile for you. Was such a nice stay, hotel is a little old so you do hear the people above you but that doesn't make it a bad place. Would definitely stay again.

The location is insane!!! And the rooftop terrace and breakfast was fantastic. It's a bit pricey for an older hotel but the free breakfast definitely helps. Rooms are funky with different themes. I would stay here again. Also free bikes and beach stuff to borrow. Loved it.

We loved everything!

We love the greeting that David gave us we first arrived and each day after. The breakfast on the sundeck, the amazing coffee and food for breakfast, the pie and ice cream , all of the snacks and coffee available to us, day and night, the spa room with the tub, and the decor of the entire hotel. We liked that the bikes were available, but we did not have time to use them. Location was the best!

you can hear everything from outside you can hear through the walls and when the water is running, and it wakes you up in the middle of the night the beds were a little too high for me definitely a beautiful hotel but for the price, it could definitely use some renovations

The staff are so friendly, night time snacks and bfast in the morning included. Beds are very comfortable. I enjoyed the balcony with the lounge couch facing the water. The hot tub was nice. Walking distance to everything in Avila Beach. Quiet room. Very romantic! Would definitely stay again.

I had a great room with a fireplace, spa tub and view. They serve pie at 8pm and a hot breakfast in the morning. Very nice.

The only thing we didn’t enjoy about our stay was being questioned by one of the morning staff members who questioned us being guests at the hotel. We felt a bit offended and like we didn’t belong. She was a very short lady with glasses and a long jacket.

The breakfast was absolutely memorable. The view, along with the breathtaking crissont. We had the complementary pie downstairs which was incredible. The room and staff were 10/10. Would stay again and recommend.

When you know a guest will be checking in, heat the rooms at least minimally. Checking into a freezing room ruins the first impression. Heater was adequate once it was on, but took more than an hour to feel comfortable.

Superb staff, quirky fun rooms, quiet location, excellent continental breakfast on rooftop terrace, surprising and delightful complementary "pie reception" in the evening.

I couldn’t get the fireplace to work so I used the space heater which was a little annoying because then it would get too hot and I would unplug it and then it would get cold and I would plug it back but other than that I love this place and I really could’ve said something and had that issue fixed I just didn’t feel like it

they offer complementary bottled waters, breakfast and pine ice cream in the evening. I love the sundeck where they serve breakfast overlooking the ocean and the customer service is awesome.

This hotel had a great location, awesome breakfast with beach view . They also have very nicely rooms with complementary water and ice creams . Also they provide bikes upon request . The hotel staff was super nice . The unique thing about this hotel was breakfast , it’s like they have there own version of Starbucks . loved the coffee here.
