How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Breakfast really sucked. No fruit no yogurt on machine was busted..ll.lguy said we were out of foood.
Check in was ok. For some reason they stuck me in the back alley. Ice machine was broken……

Breakfast started at 7 and we had an early day that started at 6:30. Couldn’t enjoy breakfast at the property

Difficulty checking in, their computer was not working. Room was not clean, we found two items on the floor. Windows need washing. The pool is not heated.
Convenient highway location, but not close to Lake Charles. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was much larger than expected. Better than average breakfast, included eggs and sausage.

Beds were a little uncomfortable
The staff were amazing! They were polite, helpful, and just all around great people! We were down for an emergency and they were very helpful and we had to extend our stay and they were very helpful in allowing us to do that

front desk personnel told us the wrong times for breakfast. when we got there it was already over. not very good customer service.
the was a cleaning staff lady cleaning the breakfast area, Breakfast was over but she was very helpful and even gave us a piece of fruit from her own lunch, excellent staff member only wished I had gotten her name to mention her in this eval.

Items at breakfast ran out early and no one refilled them. There was waffle mix but no syrup. out of bagels, eggs and sausage by 7:45. Most people only ate cereal. I was watching tv at 6:30 am (news) in lobby, and I was the only one in there but the attendant changed the channel to weather...My husband was asleep in the room. I don't understand what was wrong with me watching news especially when I was the only one in there......

The was roaches in the restroom and a few in the bedroom. The back door wasn’t working properly and I had my elderly disabled mom with me. It was pouring Sat night 7/22 and the front desk lady refused to come open the back door because she said she could leave the front desk.

The shower curtain had mold on it and the towels were either dirty or stained. The breakfast had everything you would normally expect but when we went to use the milk for cereal there were nats flying out of the container and covering the pour spout.
The staff was fantastic, specifically the lady who checked us in. She was very friendly and informative. The rooms were big and for the most part clean!

Towels are threadbare. This hotel has a neglected feel to it and needs some investment and TLC. The outdoor pool has not been cleaned in a long time.

I didn't like the stained sheets. Made me feel nasty.
The location was ok. There are some restuarants around but if you get a chance... check out Biscuits and Jamz. To make a long story short, the sheets had stains on them. Looked like a blood stain. I told the one of the room attendants and she changed them immediately. Overall just need to deep clean the rooms. Didn't eat the breakfast, but it was available.

Lighting in room was not great and we had a sofa bed in our king room but it was very dirty underneath and around sofa

Side doors flakey-shoulda had stopped in it or you could find yourself taking the long routes back in for
