The room was okay, but the door didn't have a strike plate so when you locked it it didn't feel secure. I wanted a room with a view and I did get it but could not see clearly because the window was stained, and you really couldn't see out. I was not happy to know that pets were allowed and was not happy to see a guest bringing their dog inside. I would have preferred a hotel that doesn't allow pets.

Nice inviting lobby and the front desk clerk was nice.

The room smelled like it had been smoked in but we purchased air fresheners (considered the renovation that’s taking place). Didn’t have extra blankets.

The breakfast was good. beds were comfortable. The building is being renovated so some things are outdated but still comfortable. The pool was open and the stay was well.

The price. The hotel owner doesn’t seem to want to cater to the traveling/contract industry that’s boosting Albany’s economy. The hotel isn’t worth 100+ dollars a night.

The beds was so uncomfortable. The mattress was hard and can feel the springs in the mattresses. I woke up back was hurting.

Cleanliness was lacking. I had to clean the bathroom, I'll spare the details. Trash cans were left out of place. Floor had a sticky spot. Some of the pillows had a zipper cover which freaked me out, I have only seen regular pillow cases at any of these hotels.

Location was great, staff was friendly. Breakfast was a little lacking but I did get down there close to the end of breakfast time. Beds are super comfortable!

The doors to all five rooms had issues. One door didn't close unless you slammed it. Another door got stuck opening and closing it. The third door sticks very badly when you close it. That alone was very concerning. The 3rd floor itself was freezing. Like everyone had their AC on 40 degrees.

I liked the setup of the rooms and the quick check in process. They knew who and when I was coming. They communicated very well.

I didn't like the absence of the amenities I wanted a cup of coffee there was no regular coffee or cup for the coffee to be made. The elevator had missing floor tiles at the entrance which was a trip hazard.

The linen was dingy The number of towels were inadequate for three people. The amenities were poor i.e. no lotion, only two small squares of soap.

on the 2 floor… kids was playing in the hall. I reported it to management 3 times, by phone two time person to person once. nothing was done about it. he claimed he was coming to check on it but never did. This happen on the second floor.

Sheets looked to be stained. I had to ask for a blanket because it seem to only have sheets on the bed. You couldn’t read the numbers on the display to adjust the air. Noticed there is a need for a lot of repairs such as the hole in the floor of the elevator, but it was covered and wrote in marker to watch your step.

Front desk personnel was very pleasant upon arrival and responding to my call. I didn’t eat breakfast because I wasn’t told the hours of breakfast. By the time I got up to leave seems everything was being wrapped up.

The property was a bit run down and could use some updating. There was no coffee in our room and we had to check out before breakfast. The bathroom was a bit dirty with hair and toothpaste on the wall.

The bed seemed clean and was fairly comfortable.
