No heating/cooling controls in the room. Thankfully you have windows that actually open.

The Breakfast was extraordinary. Free parking also helped. Very easy to get around from this location to many things. We also liked the fact this doesn't look like a LaQuinta or regular hotel. Lots of character.

The shower drain emanated a sewage smell for a few minutes during each shower. Also, the hot items of each breakfast were the same each day (spinach quiche, bacon, french toast) but some variety would be nice.

The historic setting of the building itself and the surrounding area was great. Bed was very comfortable.

Television was all streaming.no local news or shows. Air conditioning gave us some problems.minor inconveniences.

arrived at 4:00 & our room had not been cleaned so had to wait an hour for that to be done .Otherwise good.

The breakfast the first day was cold. The second day it was warm. We ate at the deli after that. The parking lot was small and hard to get out of. The room was musty and my partner was stuffy after waking every morning. The bathroom light was very dim. The shower was like a pressure washer. Very uncomfortable. Probably would not stay at your place again. I wouldn't recommend.

The stairs were steep to climb. The lighting for the mirror over the sink was poor. In our room, the blackout curtains didn’t close completely and the morning light woke me up.

The location was just what we needed. It had an old world feel, but with modern amenities (a decent shower, for example.)

Suggestion... the bed slides away from the wall when you sit up to read. Needs to be secured in some way. Also... a printed sheet with directions to the.breakfast next door would be helpful.

.My only complaint was the mattress was very uncomfortable, I could feel springs and there was a bit of a sag. The pillows left a little to be desired as well.

Kim was such a great help, she went above and beyond! The property is in a good location, we be were able too walk too downtown Newport. The property was very clean.

Having to go down the street and in the basement for morning coffee and the breakfast was bad. The rooms were not handicap accessible.

The cafe attached did not have more milk options for the on the go cereal and the bagel with cream cheese was a huge glob.

furniture so old looks like it wouldn’t get clean no place to sit outside; on a Main Street. can hear people next door and lots of banging from upstairs; roaches in the bathroom ugh; no sink soap for 2 days. couldn’t find anyone to to help you since you had to ring a bell and they would come from somewhere. I would not go back bc of bugs and how it looks dirty(even though it may be clean).

it was near everything and it had a great cafe downstairs.

The Inn was a little far from the waterfront but well within walking distance.

The Inn is very quaint and well-kept. Location was good but not as close to the waterfront as I would like to be now that I've been to Newport. Breakfast that was included was good but nothing spectacular. However, the service staff during breakfast was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we were well stocked with snacks for our daily adventures.
