No food at all in the pool area. Which is fine but with kids, having a little snack close by is almost necessary. Having to move completely out of the pool area and give up our seats and move everything just to eat a little and then go back, was not super convenient but totally ok.

Our experience was great. Kelly at the front desk was so very helpful. She allowed us to tour our room before checking in to make sure it met our standards. Was very helpful explaining all the amenities included as well as offering tips of local restaurants as well. The room exceeded our standards for size comfort and cleanliness. All facilities were very clean and well kept. including pool and grill area. Great price for the quality! Would definitely stay here again.

The beds! My bed was hard as a rock. My only complaint is they definitely need to purchase new mattresses or else put memory foam on them.

The location, the beautiful pool heated just right, the whole resort was exceptionally clean, the palm trees surrounding the pool area, the cool lights at night.

This was perfect about £170 a night a lovely huge room 2 x king beds, with kitchenette with everything you needed in! Pool was fab and 9ft deep one end which boys loved! Plenty of sunbeds for use. Pool area had bbqs which you could use for free and so many lush lounge areas. Beach towels and beach chairs were provided so we didn’t incur the $35 charge to use the ones on the beach! The staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Plenty of restaurants and takeaways in walking distance and the liquor store to. The best bit was the fact that the beach was literally across the road and what a beautiful beach. It was white sand clear blue Sea, an amazing sunsets! Not crowded either a real gem. The only complaint I would have are the beds were very creaky and uncomfortable. We were in room number 34 and the bed definitely need to be replaced with ones.

Not very kid friendly- in the sense of this is more of an “older” crowd that seemed to be a bit bothered by my 5 and 8 year old going in the pool. Other than that - this Hotel is Fantastic! The pool could be a little more on the “heated” side. The bed headboards were noisy getting in/out of bed plus the mattresses were a lot harder than I am use to.

Very clean and close to the beach! Housekeeping/Front office staff where Super Nice! There are beach toys/chairs available to borrow.

We loved everything and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. One small thing is that the heated pool could have been a bit warmer. People didn’t seem to really mind though.

At arrival, during the Christmas season, my mom and I were greeted with a beautifully decorated, Florida hotel in the holiday spirit. The staff was so lovely and the room was exceptional, large and extremely clean. I couldn’t say enough great things about out this place. Plus, it’s directly across from beach access, great restaurants and more. Just what we were looking for. Thank you Island House!

Shower water pressure was our only issue, otherwise the stay was beyond what we expected for the good.

Upon our arrival staff was super friendly and extremely helpful! We got there earlier than our check-in time, so the room wasn't ready which we expected, however, we were allowed to leave our car parked in the front parking lot area and they gladly lend you beach chairs and towels for your stay. That was an amazing perk for us, we loved that. With beach access directly across the street from Island House Resort and Hotel it was super close and there was plenty of room to relax, take in the sun, read a book and listen to music. A nice beach front restaurant and bar as well you can take advantage of. If you wanted with your stay, the Island House also has a BBQ area with many chairs around the pool to take advantage of if you didn't want to go to the beach. Also nice local restaurants nearby to chose from, with stores not too far, CVS if needed and mini putt (with LIVE baby Alligators!) as well. If ever given the opportunity, we would definitely go back in the future. :)

A lot of outside smoking. Couldn't smell in room though. One of our beds was amazing but the other somewhat uncomfortable.

Cute pool with nice temperature surrounded by grill and lots of chairs. All the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our room was very clean. Hotel looks vintage but the level of cleanliness made it comfortable. Really close, easy beach access.

If you are noise sensitive, be sure to request an upstairs room. I had trouble with the sound of thudding feet above me in the middle of the night. This won't be a problem for everyone, but for my next stay I'll ask to be upstsairs.

Lovely, old fashioned beach hotel. Pretty, tropical, very well maintained. Beautiful heated pool. Directly across from beach. Hotel provides beach chairs and towels. Quick walk to restaurants and Dunkin' Donuts. Guest are peaceful, relaxed, considerate. There is cheerful music playing at the pool, not too loud. So glad I found and booked this stay, would happily return.
