This hotel seems to be going through an identity crisis. When you are there during the day you might as well be at Panama City Beach or Vegas. Luckily everyone is very quiet and respectful at night but it can be a bit off putting.

Updated, comfortable rooms, quiet at night and close to the airport. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful

The newly remodeled rooms are quite comfortable. Good bed, good shower. The Lava Lava Beach Club is between the rooms and the beach. Good food and great drinks

My only complaint is that our ocean view room didn’t have an actual ocean view. You couldn’t see it from the window. You had to go out to the porch and then crane your neck to the side to see it. That was a slight bummer.

I loved the design of this property. Everything felt well thought out and maintained well. Everything felt new. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. The live music everyday was a treat. The restaurant was fun and had a great view. The value for the money of this hotel was outstanding.

A minor inconvenience that the restaurant closed between lunch and dinner... but not really a huge deal. The only con I can think of!

The location was perfect! Right on the beach, next to a 12 mile bike trail, and 15-45 minutes to different towns and activities. They had live music every day and night which was awesome! Bikes to use for free. Right next to a market and restaurants. The room was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice size. Lots of storage for a basic room!Perfect!

The location is central. Short drive to north or south sides of the island. Beach access, free bikes on site, restaurant with live music and yard games. Easy parking. A close marketplace and a nearby coffee shop. Laid back atmosphere. It's a hidden gem on Kauai. This was our second time here and we'd gladly come back again.

Too small of a pool and hot tub. There were 20 people in the hot tub when we arrived. Wasn’t going to fight for a spot

Great location! Right on the beach and included amenities (bicycles, etc). Loved the modern appliances in room as well. Nice fan and beautiful wall mirror that lit up ALOHA

I thought the staff was exceptionally friendly, professional and helpful. From the parking valets, to the desk clerks, the breakfast waitress , and even the maintenance man, just showed Aloha and made it a pleasure to visit. Mahalo!

Newly renovated, modern motel with a nice pool and breezy bar, and direct access to the beach. Very conveniently located to explore the rest of the island. I would seek breakfast elsewhere though.

The renovated room was excellent. very clean and great design. nice amount of storage restaurant on site was excellent. many activities going on around the property. we liked the valet service as well

Absolutely loved it here! Parking fine, accommodation brilliant, we had an ocean view room , it was big, clean and everything you needed. They are now renovating the next building, you may find it a bit noisy (luckily they started on our last day) Don’t hesitate booking this place

The parking was not that great. Spaces were tight, so some people would take up two spaces. But at least they offered valet parking, which we had to use several times because there was no self parking spaces available.

Some of the lobby staff were really not nice or polite. The daily room cleaning was ok at best (shower was still dirty and the bathroom trash bag was replaced and had a handful of hair which was not ours

It was super well located with great amenities (pools, beach restaurant, grocery store). Easy to go explore the northern part and southern part and very close to the airport

Gorgeous location right on the beach, with its own cafe/bar where you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner and happy our right next to the beach. If you want, there’s also whole shopping center 2 min walk from the hotel with different shops and food places as well as grocery/liquor/clothes/souvenir convenience store. Amenities are great, even though we never used a pool or a hot tub, it’s available if you want. Lawn games are a lot of fun. Morning complimentary yoga was really great! You are provided with a reusable water bottle upon arrival and can always refill it in the lobby with chilled filtered delicious water. There’s ice machine and laundry if you need, as well as microwave for your use. Beach is good and swimable), but have to watch out for the rocks on the bottom and sometimes waves are not very comfortable. But the water is crystal clear and gorgeous!! Was warm enough in March. One of my favorite things about this hotel and location is to come out of the room in the morning (about 200 feet) to the beach, lay down on one of the beach beds and observe sunrise!!! It’s magical!
