Not one single thing...amazing all the way around!

My mom and I decided to take a trip to Savannah for my 43rd birthday. I booked us a room at the Kehoe House. It was AMAZING! Not only is the entire property absolutely beautiful, but the staff was attentive and made sure we did not want for anything! I felt like I experienced true Southern hospitality on steroids! lol! Breakfast on the Veranda was Mom's favorite! She enjoyed the great food but more importantly the Chef coming out to greet us. Honestly, every member of the staff was amazing and personable and really made us feel welcome and catered to. Neither of us is used to that, so it was a pleasant surprise. Thank you to everyone at the Kehoe House for making our stay unforgettable! : )

Much historical home. The staff especially Rita embodied Southern hospitality. She made us feel special and like we were the only ones staying at the property even though it was totally sold out. A very special place to stay. ❣️

I cannot think of one thing I did not like.

The house is beautiful and a great location for walking almost everywhere we wanted to go. Everyone there was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and always tidy when we returned to it. The food was amazing and we enjoyed getting to know Chef Kiki and Chef Terre. The special attention shown to us the entire stay was sweet and genuine.

Everything was wonderful but the bed in our room, the Oglethorpe was very hard. Maybe putting a mattress pad on it would help but there was no give at all on the mattress. Otherwise it was a fabulous place to stay!

The hospitality staff was top notch and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great visit. They planned our tour and were happy to bring us wine, dessert, hor'derves, coffee, tea, water. The food was SUPERB at breakfast and Chef Terre is an excellent chef and came out to greet guests. Dessert from Kiki was great too.

The room was a little smaller than the online photos portrayed. Having visited the hotel now that is totally understandable as it is a grand old mansion. Bathroom could have more table top surfaces to store your goodies. there was literally no space on our suite for toothbrushes etc.

Country charm and decor. Friendly service and the desserts and coffee is great in the evening. After you have been out for dinner and return to the hotel, it is great to have some dessert and drinks waiting for you.

Our room (The Whitfield) was right below reception and was a little noisy late at night and early in the morning when the staff started their day.

It was a cold day and evening and the heater in the room wasn't working properly, we just didn't bother to mention it until the next day, I am sure they would have addressed the situation if I had asked. Same with the Hot water. We had a jetted tub and it was just not hot enough water to be relaxing

Our arrival was met with very friendly staff and wonderful iced tea. We were shown to our room as well as a tour of the shared spaces.

Our bathroom shower wasn’t hot enough and it was fiddly to make it hot. The room decorations (furniture details, lamps, windows and window sills) could have been cleaner. They clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned in months with plenty of dust and lint sticking to them and the harder to reach spots. Some areas and carpets in the main dining and sitting room areas had lots of layers of dirt from the many years that people had been walking on them. I understand the house is historical and they want to keep the old style with it, but that’s no excuse for keeping dirty carpets, and furniture fixtures, especially at the price they charge. One can easily replace such carpets with new ones in better condition and still keep the old look and feel of the house.

Breakfast was very good. One can customize what they want for breakfast and they are very accommodating. Location is perfect, House is beautiful and with lots of decorative elements. Staff is helpful and lovely to talk to.
