a minor issue: but missing standard network options such as live, wider range of news options and channels, but some nice extra film and series channels. The house and location are much more positive than that otherwise.

The only downside was that the window in one of the rooms did not open which made it somewhat of a struggle to cool off that room. The home does not have air conditioning, but they did have a few fans that we used to help with the heat.

The house is a perfect place for a family. Everything was clean and comfortable. We were close enough to everything, but still far enough away to have peace and quiet on what is a pretty busy island. A grocery store is just a few minutes down the road as well.

There was a funky smell of fish in the kitchen and also the bathroom had a lingering urine smell when we arrived. There are cleaning products on-site and we took care of it. Also, a bigger bed in one of the main bedrooms would be nice. They are roomy enough.

After a multi-hotel drive from Ohio to here, and the last place taking my parking space, it was pure joy to be away from the hustle and bustle that is Bar Harbor and Acadia. It was close to Bass Harbor and thirty minutes from the loop. Excellent WiFi, easy entry and a laundry room. Would stay here again.

Lots of pet hair ( allergy problems big time),humidity high, damp, windows in one bedroom would not open,unclean sofa bed, bathroom toilet seat was loose,no fan, door would stick and no curtain on window.

Location, size of house, supplies, garage, TV and every thing was in working order,lots of closet space, card table with chairs,well stocked kitchen and grill/ picnic table!

The appliances could be updated a bit since they were older (washer, dryer, and dishwasher) but they still worked and served their purpose. There is carpeting throughout the house (aside from the kitchen and bathroom) which was a little inconvenient coming in and going out so as to not track in dirt and debris.

The kitchen was fully equipped and had a dishwasher. We used two of the three bedrooms and they were large and roomy. The beds were firm, but incredibly comfortable. There were also lots of linens and towels easily available if we needed more. The house had large tv which made watching a movie together at night really convenient. There was also a washer and dryer which was very helpful since we got some unexpectedly hot weather. And the location was great-- quiet neighborhood, lots of space between neighbors, and less than a 30 minute drive to most places on Mount Desert Island!

When we got there , there was this smell that I can’t describe .there was laundry on the floor next to the washer and sheets on the table . Trash in the bathroom and in the garage .the light in the middle bedroom didn’t work, comforter has stains and holes ,the bed-pad has stains all over . The blue blankets has animal hair on them . Bathroom wasn’t cleaned , coffee pot was left dirty . Very disappointed , it looked like someone came in and put clean towels in the bathroom and left . Someone came in and took the trash from the garage when we weren’t there . I would like some of my money back for this stay

Most disturbing was the musty smell in parts of the house, including the beds and bedding in 2 of the bedrooms, with one of the rooms having a window that did not open, to air out the room, and mold on the wall of one of the bdrms! Amenities were not as described and lacked simple comforts such as no deck, no outdoor chairs (for stargazing!) or blowdryer, no tvs in the bdrms, and no kleenex, which we needed for the sneezing and runny noses from the mustiness and mold, which affected us all. Also the living area rugs were very dirty and obviously unvacuumed.

The location was very nice, quiet, close to quaint Southwest Harbor village, and a 25 min dirive to Acadia park loop and Bar Harbor. The kitchen had everything, and moret that was needed

The homeowner was very helpful in giving advice about the area and answering questions during our stay. The home was very clean and comfortable. There was a picnic table out back for outdoor dining which we enjoyed.
