The rooms were a bit small, our tub was not draining properly neither was our TV. the response time for maintenance was poor. I also ordered some tea which took 2 hours to arrive after checking in several times the housekeeping personnel had an attitude when I requested the tea yet again.

the hotel is beautiful and centrally located. the food at the social club was also very good.

Over priced for what it was. The beds were uncomfortable and whatever was outside our window (AC unit or vents of some sort) were sooo loud!!! Plus I didn’t realize there was such a large security deposit so that tied up a lot of money. We also did the Everglades excursion and was told at the desk we could use a card but that was NOT the case! It was cash only so the driver ended up using some app to charge my card but there was a $15 fee to do that.

It seems that the quality and decor of the facilities/rooms has gone downhill since the last time we stayed here. Things seem shabby and run-down and the room/bathroom had a completely different feel than before. There were paint chips in the bathroom and it "felt" unclean for some reason. The fine details and feeling of luxury were now gone in the room, e.g. no snack tray, other decorative furnishings, etc. Such a shame really... And there was also a strong smell of marijuana in the hallways coming from some of the rooms.

The restaurant prices are exorbitant!! Very disappointing Also, the $150 deposit per night was also extreme. That gave me less money to spend on vacation

The fact that I paid over $500 for a night and had no access to the pool because they closed so early. By 6:30 they were getting ready to close

The pool area music was at times a bit much- clearly this is meant as a party vibe but at least during the week a more chill feel would have been appreciated. The bed sheets did not fit well. The terrace- for which we paid a premium- should have been provided with a bit of shade to make it more enjoyable to use.

Location is fantastic- beautiful beachfront and convenient to all fo South Beach (we basically walked to everything)

Our bathroom door didn’t not close well, the elevator was not very clear near reception. They were fixing or making repairs on our floor. The rooms did not have enough plug access because most of the decorative items were plugged in, and our blinds did not work properly.

The layout of the property is great. The location was great and the restaurant The Social Club has great food, but overall the property is a bit dated.

While I was told we got an upgraded room at check-in, our room was on the first floor facing the courtyard walkway. Even with the windows closed it was often noisy and twice in the early morning hours I was awakened by loud shouting of people outside my window. The AC was not working properly so the room was not cool. Additionally, the room was small with no frig/microwave/ coffee maker.

The location, facilities/amenities, staff, checking in, and valet parking were excellent.

The lobby has a temperature of freezing cold. The rooms has no decoration with a depressing gray color. The bathroom is very small. Honestly say, it's not a level of the Kimpton Hotels

The hotel management have to be grateful to have such a team of the employees. The employees, starting from the Reseption personal to the cleaning personal or service employees who have to bring an additional blankets to the room, were extremely friendly and helpful, conducted their business on the professional level. Also, the hotel has a nice little garden area.
