Booked the presidential suite because I was told it had a jacuzzi, only to find out it’s really only intended for 1 person. I couldn’t understand why a LaQuinta in Anderson had public jacuzzi but Kokomo only had it in an expensive room. When we got there it looked like the pool was ready to go but by the next day when we were ready to swim, it was shut down for repair. This seems to happen to me a lot. No use of pool during my stay. Then the day we check out (11:00) we find out it is ready to go. Giving us a whole hour to swim and get dried off and pack up. Grr. Since we did have the presidential suite, it had a LR and kitchen, I feel there at least needs to be some paper towel in the kitchen to dry our hands off.

They charged me four times. And held up money so I was stranded with no gas and no food. Upon trying to talk to the management her social skills were that of a child. She kept talking over me telling me it was my bank. When in fact, they were the one that charged it. She obviously has never had any hospitality, education, and has no right being in a customer service position. I submitted to her ignorance because it would have been very uncomfortable staying there without doing so. Most of the staff look like they have math problems themselves. This hotel is nothing more than putting lipstick on a pig. I am putting pictures on the Internet of the filth in the room. White stains of I don’t know what substance on the bedskirt, mold in the corners of the bathroom and shower, hair, dirt, and filth in the cupboards, that house, the refrigerator, no microwave or conference room like they say. The photos of the rooms were obviously doctored. It is in no way shape or form worth the money they charge. It is not clean, like to review said, and the staff all look like they have a substance abuse problem.

The pool was nice and the fitness room was adequate. They had avacado at breakfast time. That was a nice addition.

Property seemed very run down. We rented a suite- couch bed was broken. Shower was awful, the door was nearly falling off. Televisions were very outdated. Elevator was broken half the stay. Walls were patchy.

Associate checking us out - her attitude. I asked for a receipt and she said she could not give me one. She Said she could not and it had to go through booking.com first to get a receipt. I told her we had stayed the two previous nights at hotels and both hotels give us a receipt and it was through Booking.com. She’s very nastily repeated, “ I said, I cannot give you the receipt. It has to come throughbooking.com.” I asked her to explain why she could not give me a receipt, and she again nastily repeated the same thing. Left a very bad taste in my mouth and mind.

This is an older property that could really use an upgrade. Not really "dirty", but worn carpets, furniture, bathroom fixtures, etc. I like to see hotels put money back into their properties and staff. Apparently this isn't a priority with the owners of LaQuinta.

Friendly, courteous staff. We were welcomed upon arriving, and given "the-lay-of-the-land" RE: breakfast times, check-out, and local dining tips. The exterior property was nicely landscaped and maintained.
