Satisfied with every aspect - we often chose to have breakfast and dinner on the lanai because the view was unsurpassed.

Clean, well maintained with absolutely the most amazing view. It was a very simple room - and we’ve been used to condo facilities but we were not disappointed.

It is very expensive for what it is (although everything in Hawaii is very expensive currently).

The view from this room was fantastic as was the cleanliness and space in the room. It was last minute booking and comms from the team were great. It is a short walk to the centre to the restaurants and bars.

No curtains on the little windows made it very bright at night while trying to sleep. No “do not disturb” cards so housekeeping tried entering, thankfully the door was chained. I was asked to allow pest control in to spray,. I thought that was inappropriate to ask if a guest.

We liked everything. However, counter space in the bathroom was a problem. We used the kitchen counter/island just outside the bathroom door for all of our toiletries/makeup, contacts, etc. Management might consider installing a shelf on the wall below the mirror, above the sink. This would be easy and inexpensive, and would make a huge difference.

Unbeatable ocean view right outside our room. Updated decor. Very clean. Beach chairs available to borrow. Friendly and helpful staff/manager. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

Unfortunately there is no air conditioning in any rooms. While it states there is a sea breeze that keeps you cool, it was difficult for us to fall asleep easily as we were soooo hot in the room, the entire week long stay. We did not really acclimate to the heat and humidity as stated on the room details. The temps were mid to high 80s everyday, lows only in mid to high 70s, so no relief at night either. Although there was a fan in the room and a ceiling fan, I would consider adding small compact AC units to some rooms to offer. If there will be AC in the future, we will be back!

The Kona Tiki Hotel is a gem, and such a find at a great price! Our ocean front room was perfect to watch the surf hit the lava rocks, surfers, sea life and amazing sunsets! The location is perfect, so close to downtown Kona, shopping, farmer's markets, etc.

Our room was very close to the road - so it was very noisy. No air conditioning and no TV. The property was quite old and dated - needs a bit of a revamp.

It was reasonably close to town. We could walk to breakfast etc. The ocean view was great.

Basic accommodations for the price and very small bathroom. No AC wouldn't have been a problem, but it was just a humid week. The small parking lot and an area with a busy street were more than we wanted when jet lagged, but it is doable!

The balcony and those crashing ocean waves! Unforgettable experience. We were on the second floor and just loved it! Nice kitchen space. Respectful neighbors and friendly owners who communicated well since the booking and provided clean towels quickly each time.
