Located right near the beach with a Tennis club in front of it. Nearby are some food, restaurant and other shopping places. Parking is plentiful. Pool in courtyard is a quiet respite. Staffperson was incredibly communicative and bright.

Great location, short walk to beach and restaurants. Apartments are a little older but are large, clean and have most things you need. OK if just doing simple cooking and meals as kitchenware was basic. Pool was fantastic and heated.

I love the spacious apartment feel with kitchen and living room areas. The common spaces by the pool are inviting and homey. The proximity to the beach and restaurants is ideal, being able to walk anywhere in five minutes. I have vacationed here year after year with my family and friends.

Absolutely nothing!

I visit my daughter at UCSD often and this time was delighted I could snag a reservation at Riviera Inn. Great location in La Jolla Shores. Walk around the corner to the restaurants and the beach. It's quiet, charming, clean inexpensive, and you get a lot of space... kitchen, living room, dining area, bathroom. The bed/linen was very comfortable and shower great! The staff is so kind and helpful. My fav place in La Jolla so far!

No air conditioning but they did have fans. With windows open and fan running it was ok but it could get hot in the summer. It was mid-60s when we stayed.

The proximity to La Jolla shores and how quiet it was. The kitchen was nicely stocked. The pull out bed was comfortable enough too!

Soundproofing was not so hot. We could clearly hear our neighbours getting ready in the mornings. The fixtures in the kitchen were a bit tired and could do with a remodel.

Checked in after hours and although the reception was closed, there was a box with our key in to allow us to get into the unit. Unit was ground floor apartment style with separate bedroom, living area, bathroom, kitchen and was very spacious. Bed was comfortable with extra towels and blankets, and an ironing board + iron in the closet. Room includes cable TV and movies on demand. Although they offer paid off-street parking, we had zero problem finding on-street parking right outside the place, in view of our living room. Location is fabulous and quiet - five minute's walk to nearby restaurants, bars, and the beach. Great starting point for coast walk hike up to La Jolla Village (main town centre). Kitchen was adequately supplied with cutlery, crockery, glassware, and sufficient implements to make a simple meal. Coffee make in the kitchen was handy as they also provide free coffee. The place has a nice pool (didn't try) and laundry on site (coins or on-line payment). The Concierge is on-site in the day and was super helpful in offering suggestions of places to visit and where to find items for purchase. Location is c. 10 minutes drive to a big Ralphs store and Trader Joe's. We visited San Diego a couple of times and were able to drive to the Old Town and park on the street for free then take the tram into town from there.

Very basic decor, a 70s throwback. Felt a bit like a college dorm.

Great location in La Jolla Shores, close to restaurants and beach. Easy to park on street by hotel. Full kitchen and pleasant living room, cute little central courtyard with a pool. Super clean and quiet.

WiFi was slow. We mentioned it to them and they hadn’t had problems before so it may have just been our room.

Everything was pretty solid.

Just a short walk to the very nice and long La Jolla beach, great for a morning or evening walk. Room was spacious, our sofa could use some love as it was a pullout and not that great to sit on. Kitchen was equipped well for anything you might need to cook. Bathroom was nice and a hot strong shower. Bed was comfortable and noise at night was very low from outside, so good sleeping. Great view from our room across towards the tennis club and far distance ocean. La Jolla Cove (with a ton of sea lions and seals and birds) was maybe 15 minute walk along a nice coastal trail, don't bother driving to it, just walk!

we stayed here a few times, and every time we felt like home! The place is spacious and clean. It has everything we need! The location is great and it is only a short walk to the beach. There are great restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Best of all, the people who work there, Debbie and Lisa, they always make sure you have everything you needed - they are the BEST!

Room a little dated but very clean! Wall furnance makes loud bangs when using. TV use with streaming is not great and limited unless you put in your info for what you have.

Location is GREAT! Nearby to beach and restaurants. Area is quiet!

It’s not fancy, but it’s in a great location. We went during a cold snap and there’s no way to turn up the heat for chilly mornings just hanging out in the room.

This property is spotlessly clean and in a great location if you need to walk to restaurants, groceries, local beauty spots. The management was so nice and responsive.

staying here is like moving to a melrose place style apartment in fab upscale neighborhood for a little while. beautiful, chill…but on a budget. we walked to the beach, park, local restaurants, and the sandcastle house was really cool and crazy. debbie at the front desk is a legend.
