The rooms are worn around the edges, although the bedding is comfortable. The breakfast was horrible. The coffee was undrinkable, everything was prepackaged and unhealthy, and who uses styrofoam anymore? The orange juice came our brown.

Nice location. big rooms. Mobility access room.

The hotel was nice. They offered free breakfast. We were greeted coming in and going out.

The first days rate was pricey.

Laquinta does well when it comes to comfort, but the first days rate was a bit exorbitant, for a 3-star hotel.

THERE WAS HARDLY ANYTHING LEFT ON THE BREAKFAST BUFFET IN THE MORNINGS. ENDED UP HAVING TO GO OUT TO EAT OR GRAB STUFF FROM THE GAS STATION NEXT DOOR. NOT SURE IF THE HOTEL WAS FULLY BOOKED OR NOT, BUT ALL THAT WAS LEFT THE DAY W DID EAT AT THE HOTEL WAS JUICE, COFFEE, APPLES, MINI SAUSAGE BISCUITS, OATMEAL, DRY CEREAL; NO MILK, AND SOME MUFFINS. ALL THE MEAT AND EGGS AND MILK CARTONS WERE GONE. PUT OUT MORE FOOD AT DIFFERENT TIMES FOR BREAKFAST, NOT JUST ALL AT ONCE AND HAVE NOTHING LEFT FOR THE LATE WAKERS. ALSO HAVE THE POOL OPEN TO GUESTS. KIDS WERE DISAPPOINTED THE POOL WAS NOT OPEN FOR THEM TO SWIM IN.

ROOMS WERE QUIET, AS WELL AS OTHER GUESTS. BED WAS COMFY, BATHROOM WAS CLEAN. STAFF WAS NICE AND POLITE AS WELL.

I stayed for a week for work. It was really clean and comfortable. Not a five star hotel but not dirty, sheets felt and smelled clean, bathrooms were really clean. It seems to have been renovated in the past few years. The location is nice because it’s outside of the busy city, hustle and bustle of Baton Rouge but still right there. Everything you need is off that exit or the one before it so you don’t have to go farther than 5 minutes for anything. The hotel as a whole just had a little bit of a mildew/wet smell. Now mind you it has been raining in Louisiana for weeks now, so that may have been a factor but I also read in reviews on hotels in the area that a lot of places flooded pretty recently so idk. I bought a glade plug in and some damp rid from Lowe’s and it was fine for the time I had to stay there. Pool is closed, which they don’t say on the website or when you book. Breakfast is prepackaged muffins and freezer sausage biscuits or grits you make yourself from the packet. If I would have known either of these things I would probably have booked somewhere else considering the price point. “Covid” Two things I requested while staying there: I work mid shifts from 3pm-3am so I sleep a little later than most. That being said I was asleep when housekeeping would pass on my floor. I politely asked to have housekeeping come by while I was at work around my fourth day there and they wouldn’t service my room. I would understand if I was asking to have it done after normal business hours or in the middle of the night but 2pm? They said I had my do not disturb sign out, which I definitely didn’t. I didn’t want them coming in anyway because I was asleep but the fact that they lied about the sign just kind of put a bad taste in my mouth. They treated me like I was complaining or accusing them of not doing their job.

There could have been water available at breakfast. Also there was nothing to cook the grits in. Grits need to be cooked and there were only styrofoam bowls which can’t be microwaved.

    The sausage biscuits were great.

My only and important complaint is, please upgrade you toilets, these are too low for average size people. I felt like these were kid size toilets and is hard to get up and on.

Price was good, staff was very friendly on down to housekeeping. Was convient location.

The reason why I give an 8 instead of a 10 is because the breakfast was subpar and the pool was closed.

Bathroom was a bit worn down. I could only speak for myself - loved the chill, modern, laid back, safe vibe. The bathroom in my room was tired looking for sure, but clean. Had a comfortable stay with the dog and cat.

Breakfast, eggs seem to be powdered, not certain, but basic breakfast spread. Prefer to go to the nearby to Waffle House.

Staff is friendly and helpful, location is convenient, it's quiet, location close to restaurants, Walmart and Racetrac right across the street. Priced reasonable

At no fault to the hotel there was a car meet at the gas station late at night which disturbed us from sleeping earlier as our room faced the parking lot/Racetrac. Beware if you book on a Friday or Saturday. It took a while for all the cars to clear out.

Nice location off the highway, with a Racetrac gas station right across the street. Room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was good.

didn’t care for the loads of young people hanging out next door at the racetrack gas station.. they get in the way with their cars or their selves as you try to pull in.. watching you the whole time.. their cars take up most the parking spaces.. one young girl didn’t want to move out of the only parking space open.. kinda leaves you feeling unsafe..

everything was clean and well manicured.. room was clean.. no stains on bedding or carpet.. fresh fluffy towels.. bed was very comfortable.. lots of nice size pillows.. a/c worked great.. couldn’t hear any noise from the other rooms or hallway.. pool area was nice size and in a quiet space.. very friendly staff
