Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsIt was a mixed bag: some facilities in the bathroom were very nice (quality countertop & fixtures) but the furniture unit holding the sink needed cleaning/updating. Also the joints of the shower unit & floor were dirty/soiled.
About 1/2 hr from the Strip so nice & quiet at night. Car traffic can be heard in the morning though.

United StatesCold showers in the morning - little to no hot water available for morning showers when we got done with breakfast at 9 am I took a shower at 3 am though and there was plenty of hot water, so I assume that there are limited water heaters and so you better get into the shower first thing or just shower at night. Also, the hot tub and pool were out of order which was a bummer.
Good location for our needs. Easy to find. Great breakfast provided.

United StatesWe were charged $10 per day for parking even though it was advertised as free. Apparently a new policy went into effect the day we arrived. We were also charged an additional $250 incidentals fee, also anew policy that started the day we arrived. The incidental fee has not been refunded as of 2/12/24. We checked out on the morning of 2/7/24. I will obviously be following up on this.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. Location was good for us because we didn’t want to be near the strip.

United StatesI’ve stayed a few times over the last several months and the spa continues to be out of order. You’re informed at the desk it’s not available as if it just went down but the bottom line is it’s just not being fixed and maintained. You should fix this. Same with the elevator next to the lobby. Neither is an issue for me, but I’m fortunate to not need the elevator and am indifferent about the spa.
Breakfast was as advertised - nothing fancy but met my needs and I’m good with that. I also understand that the hotel is adjacent to a very busy freeway so there will be noise - not a big deal.

At 1:45 am middle night, fire alarm sounded, every one jumped up , ran out of the building for about 1 hour. Next morning, asked front desk, some pump out of order. So many out of orders?!

United StatesThe hotel and the grounds appeared unkept. Outside, trashbin was full and overflowing. Hallways needed vacuuming and the front desk staff seemed tired and on edge. Our bathtub faucet had a good size drip going on; which we let the front desk know about.

IrelandThis place is not only pet friendly, it actually is a “Pet Hotel”! It was almost impossible to get in and out of the hotel without bumping into some guest with at least 2-4 dogs! And some of them were races outlawed in Europe many years ago!
I arrived at breakfast at 9:05am and was told they closed at 9:00am and there was nothing available anymore! Ending breakfast at 9:00am is not customer friendly!
