Our bathroom was dirty. The floor had dirt and hair in the corners, hair in the bath tub, no toilet tissue roller, just a partially used toilet tissue roll on the sink and shower curtain was mildewed. We had to call office to get toilet tissue. The bedroom had the filters for the air conditioner just leaning against the wall. It seems maintenance is not a priority at this very nice facility.

Very friendly and accommodating employees. One young man left his break to help us get keys that worked. We also loved the hot breakfast. The facilities were nice but not well maintained. f

The road in front of the hotel was under construction. (not their fault) While the room was clean, the entrance, reception area, hall ways. elevator and other common areas left something to be desired. Dirty carpets and walls, chipped paint, etc. My expectations where pretty low when walking in. I don't know why some hotels don't pay attention to these things. Cesar's Palace is spending millions in renovations on their entrance to improve what they call the "arrival experience." Regular hotels could take cue from this. You don't need anything fancy, just clean and kept up. Dirty doors, windows, carpets and a pot with no plants filled with cigarette butts makes it seem like you are walking into dive hotel. Fortunately, the room was clean.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast served was good but they ran out of sausage and eggs before 9AM. We barely made it but it really upset some other guests. The staff was okay, nothing out of the ordinary.

The carpet felt icky and sticky like it had never been cleaned, the bathroom wall trim and was falling off and the sink was falling out from under the counter.

The pool was out of service which I didn’t find out until I checked in. No late check out. Cleaning staff was very loud. They need to deep clean the elevators and hallways.

The bed was not uncomfortable, but the bedding was too big and slippery. So whenever I turned, it either tangled me or slid around. The in-room coffee was terrible and that was the only choice. I was expecting the bag breakfast, as I had already read that. But I wasn’t expecting it to be all sugar and no nutritional value. No yogurt. No milk. No protein. Just danish, water, sugary “granola” bars, and orange juice.

It is tight off of US-75, which is convenient. But US-75 is under construction there (and everywhere else) so it took a long time to get along the frontage road to it. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom, with lots of counter space. The front desk staff (the only staff I encountered) was friendly and helpful. They seemed to be super cautious re:Covid and cleanliness. There were two good restaurant choices right next door.

Building is run down and out dated. Who ever owns the property must not care about appearances. All the shrubs were dead. Parking lot was filthy. Pool under repair. Was not notified about this until I checked in.

I really don't fault the hotel, since they just open last Thursday due to Covid-19. The hotel, itself is old and is in need for an update, but has an overall feeling of dirt and grime.
