    I used to enjoy staying here. But the quality has gone down recently: *There was loose hair on the floor *Bed sheets had stains on them *Mattresses were uncomfortable. I woke up with a hurting back *Rust stains in the shower *Poor lighting. Only one lamp had a bulb in it

    Lots of "wasted space." Could easily add a mini fridge and microwave to the room. Perhaps a coffee maker as well. Also, the "breakfast" was disappointing. Coffee, juice and wrapped pastry. Lame. Previous Wyndham property offered eggs, sausage, bagels, toast, cereal, milk etc., and charged less for the room.

    Room was "roomy." Enough space to maneuver my wife's wheelchair. Also, "art" on the wall, which you don't see in most motels.

    The room has no micro-oven, coffee maker and tissue paper. The towels were only one set for two people.

    Location is convenient and front desk person was nice attitude. Room was clean.

    I will never use Booking.com nor will I stay at La Quinta Inn by Wyndam Costa Mesa again.

    I was charged a no-show fee for the first night even though when I checked in the next day, I had no booking listed at the property. I then had to establish a new booking at a much higher rate. The room furnishings and counter tops were filthy when my wife wiped down the room with wet wipes. Beds were very small and uncomfortable. There were no facial tissues in the room. The toilet paper was the thinnest and smallest I have ever seen. The TV wasn't working when we checked into the room. There were not enough hand or bath towels in the room even though it was booked for 3 adults.

    Cancelling 2 of the 3 booked nights. Netflicks was free once the TV was brought on line. The room had a small refrigerator that worked.

    That it had a bed to rest, I couldn’t shower the shower/tub was clogged up. I had to sponge clean myself. I was very tired, I just wanted to rest after doing what I needed to do by the city. Next day I came at 5:30 the tab/shower was the same water didn’t drain from the shower/tub I went to reported. They assigned me an other room, I had to move my stuff to another room being very tired. I think they still want to charge me extra for the room they gave me. my bill was from 154 for two nights plus $12 taxes were added, was $169, and I checked my credit card 7 days later I have a charge of more than $200.

    I asked for room service every single damn day and never received it, not only that but the maids had the nerve to catch a attitude with me after I asked them, and the front desk staff did nothing to help or accommodate me, I had dirty towels, sheets and blankets it was extremely unprofessional.

    The main light switch didn't work. There was a long odd bump in the floor and we were facing the backside and it just seemed as though there were several sketchy people in and about the hotel. That's the only reason I wasn't sure about how family friendly it is. Also, nowhere that I saw prior to booking did I see there would be an additional charge, not deposit for my pet, so that was a 50.00 surprise I had not budgeted for.

    There was no breakfast. The bed was fine. The room was alright.

    No breakfast, only coffee and a sad looking piece of bread. Cockroaches in my bedroom, I waited almost an hour along another person because the person up front was too busy doing other things. At 12:00AM the person staying in the room to the right of us and their party were outside of our window yelling, laughing uncontrollably, and being obnoxious loud, it lasted until 2:00AM and I had to go outside to complain to them because I have a 1 year old child, and live 3 1/2 hours away, if I could I would go back and not check in to the place and would’ve stayed in our car. Sad experience.

    I got to watch Thor, that’s all. Literally.

    I Definitely didn't like the staff's lack of derailed information and how they were reserved in giving clear information, the staff seemed not well informed.

    The cool environment and less disturbance and the ease of accessibility.

    A little run down, you hear everything outside, same parking lot as a Hooters(loud people, late at night). They charge a $50 deposit that they don't disclose when booking that takes a while to be returned.

    Room was available & the desk staff is nice.

    No artificial sweetener, lighting in the evening is a little dim, bathrooms have seen years of customers.

    Location, price, morning juice and coffee, staff very friendly and helpful.

    They charged me for a Superior double Queen, then put me in a room with two full sized beds and told me that was their standard queen. I feel ripped off.

    Location was fine. It was 20 minutes to the docks or beach. It was noisy though because it's located right next to the freeway.

    Supervisor of house keeping failed to check my room. My bed sheets were dirty and my tub was not cleaned. My lamp on the right side flickered and needed adjusting. I called front desk and got no answer.

    Front desk agents were polite but not knowledgeable of the computer system. I requested a discounted rate that wasn’t applied to my folio.

    They charged me $50.00 reimbursable upon check out, and they didn't honored. Neither answer phone calls or text messages. I put a dispute charge with my CC. I will not recommend or going to that place.
