    The hot tub fixed

    Everything was great but wished the hot tub worked.

    We initially booked this hotel because of the swimming pool and were going to have out grandchildren swim. Upon arrival at the property, we found the pool was closed, due to ventilation problems, and had been closed for over a week. We booked the hotel a few days prior and there was not a message advising of pool closure. We requested a discount on the room and were denied by the manager. The hotel manager was at the front desk training a new employee and would not acknowledge our presence when front desk staff asked for discount. The manager was not interested in offering any compensation or apology for pool being closed. Ice machines were not working on the floor we stayed on. he next day we left our room to come back in the afternoon to find our room had not been cleaned or fresh towels left. We made contact with a housekeeper and was told we had put a "Do not disturb" sign on our door and was reason for not cleaning, which we did not leave sign on door. Housekeeper advised she would have someone clean the room. We left hotel again, only to return to a room which was not cleaned, nor fresh towels left. Tried calling the front desk, no answer, and had to go down to the front desk, found to members of front desk crew there. Requested room be cleaned and fresh towels, and was advised housekeeping would be up to clean room. Again room was not cleaned, but front desk person did bring fresh towels. Left message for hotel manager to make contact with us, never from him. No apologizes for our ruined stay. Do not use this hotel- management and staff have "Don't care attitudes".

    Breakfast was good. There were plenty of choices of food.

    The pool and hot tub were closed. Online it said they were open. When we got there to check in, there was a sign alerting us the pool was closed. We chose that hotel over others specifically because of the pool. We were not able to cancel and were stuck staying there with 6 kids that needed the pool to wear off energy from traveling

    The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great

    Was not told pool was closed when reserving my room. Half the reason I choose this hotel was for the indoor pool for my kids. Then when I show up and find out the pool is closed I ask for a discount and was denied. I then ask about a refund and I’ll go to a different hotel but was told I could not get a refund. Also no laundry facility for guest. Furniture in room was old and beat up.

    They told me over the phone I could get a late check out of 4pm I booked it because they told me that then I get there and they then tell me no I cannot get a late check out.the only reason I booked it there was because of that

    We have stayed here 4 times And have never disappointed! Every one is so friendly and professional. We plan on staying here again next week. Best place to stay in Stillwater.

    I did not like that the pool wasn't open. The pool is one of the reasons i chose this hotel

    I loved the breakfast! One of the best ive had at a hotel

    The tv in room didn’t have sound and they couldn’t figure it out. The tile in front of the jet tube was broken and sharp. The A/C in the bedroom of the suite didn’t work properly so it was super hot.

    The staff was extremely polite.

    The pool was nasty. Had things floating in it. There were pubic hairs in the shower.

    It was in a great location, not too noisy but still had things around.

    Room the air conditioner vent was broke, the heater smelled like something was on fire, the fridge didn’t work, the pool wasn’t working, no breakfast. Someone put a towel with poop all over it outside the elevator. We always stay at La Quinta and this has been the worse visit.

    There was only a bag breakfast. I actually thought it was kind of sparse. I understand probably due to Covid but could have been a bit more substantial. I thought I would be closer to the university but the price was right.

    The location was ok. Had hoped to be closer to the university but it worked out and I would come back.

    I didn't like that on a night that we weren't even supposed to be there we were booked in by the staff because a staff member change the reservation and told us that they were changed but they never were from 3 night to 2. We were called at our home at midnight. The 1st night we were there we were woken up at 3am by police officers banging on our door looking for someone in a another room. The 2nd night we were there we were woken up at 4am by the fire department because someone was trying to smoke in there room and set off the fire alarm. I have to call the front desk both times because no one bothered to let us know what was going on or why it all was happening. There was no hot breakfast. The pool was broke so my kids could not swim and were very upset.

    That are dog was able to sat for free.

    Rooms weren’t clean. Dried toothpaste on the woodwork. Lots of scratches. The bedding was stained...at least I hope it was stained and not dirty. The a/c unit would kick on and then go into a high pitched ‘scream’. Woke us up all night long. Could hear dogs barking.

    The hotel was definitely showing signs of age and wear. Our room needed a paint job and had a sagging floor outside the bathroom. The worst was the lack of enforcement of their own COVID restrictions. They state and have posted a mask requirement, but I saw almost no other guests wearing masks in the common areas, elevators, etc, and saw no attempt by staff in clear view of this to correct the issue. While I understand and support not having the normal hot breakfast open at this time, the sack breakfast was certainly not an equivalent substitute, with a single small, pre-wrapped danish and cup of mandarin orange slices.

    The location was very convenient for our needs. The hotel is very friendly and accepting of dogs, which is the primary reason we chose this hotel.

    The review is more about booking.com. This is not our first issue with booking.com. They lie. They are misleading in the Description. Very pushes on “Upgrade” they try to get you to pay more for “upgraded room” when the hotel tells you there is no upgrade to the room you have. Booking.com agent stats it was open we arrived to find out Do to Covid pool, breakfast, and the gym all we’re closed.
