Our reservation was mixed up when we got there. We had reserved a pet friendly room but it wasn't available until the following day. It was a pain not being able to unpack, however, Lisa was exceptional in getting us into the pet friendly room that next day. It was, at best, a slight inconvenience. However, we were definitely not upgraded to a "King Sunrise View" with a fireplace, just a similar room but pet friendly. That's what's coming up on your site. Would have been nice, but no.

Breakfast was outstanding! We received a voucher for breakfast due to a mixup with our reservation. We both had the full breakfast and everything was wonderful. The fruit was amazing! The entire staff was exceptional.

Breakfast took an unusually long time to arrive at our table, though we were told that we were the only table our the wait staff was serving. My coffee was lukewarm, as was my omelet. It would have been easier to find our room location if there were directional signs in the hallway. Ie: Rooms 27-35> We wandered up and down the long corridors to eventually find our room and that of friends.

The restaurant’s menu online showed many vegetarian options so we booked a table. When we arrived, they had a much more limited menu with few vegetarian options, and some were even out of stock. Our dinner was a disappointment. However our breakfast the next morning was very good.

The room was lovely and there were many amenities on the property.

The bistro food was okay/good but not great. I had an incredible lavender lemonade mojito though that I would definitely order again.

The cocoa and coffee bar was amazing, especially since we spent all of our time at the hotel due to the weather. The staff were all so very nice, helpful, and welcoming. They even left us a bottle of bubbly in the room fridge to congratulate us on getting married! We were staying with them for our "mini-moon" and it was really just the perfect place. The spa was also excellent and relaxing, our couples massage was fantastic.
