A nice get away in Texas. Comfortable rooms, great pool. We went for the eclipse and it was a perfect place to view it and relax with the family. Decent breakfast. Very friendly staff. Really so far, the best place we’ve been in Texas! We didn’t try the spa, but will next time.

The place for the price needs some updates. Our bathroom was a little dated, the beds were semi comfortable, the rooms were so humid our beds and towels felt wet.

the elevators were an issue, no valet but Elvis makes up for that with rides down to the restaurant, no room service or late night option for cooked meals

Restaurants need improvement and more variety. Please need more entertainment!!!! Live music and piano bar, movie night, and a big game room.

The hotel was beautiful, clean, and smelled so good. Pools were just amazing, I loved it. Stuff was always nice and helpful. Fresh cookies were definitely a plus.

I didn’t like the $50 early check in fee, I’ve never had to pay that at any other resort, however I was happy to check in early anyway. I did not like the fact that there was a $40/day fee to use the amenities since we already paid to be guest there. What I was told was, the fee is to cover the use of the pool, the s’mores fire pit, the gym etc.

It was absolutely beautiful, so relaxing and the view was perfect!

I am short so the bed height was a bit challenging for me. A printed guide of the facilities with a map, hours, etc. in each room was not provided. However, the staff was very helpful with information when asked.

Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of choices at the T&R restaurant breakfast buffet. Staff was friendly and attentive throughout the facility! Pools were beautiful and relaxing. Views were wonderful, especially the sunset. Spa staff was excellent and the view of the lake was amazing.

The walking distance from the rooms to the pool is a bit excessive. Overall there is not much we did not like. The cost of drinks is just really too high at all resorts.

The pool and games with lake view are amazing. The restaurant has lake views...all of the lake views were amazing. I liked being close to the marina since we were going on the lake.

A couple of things I wasn't thrilled about. Was not happy about service fees that were added to the bar tab at the pool every time I opened a tab. Paying guests with a room should not have to pay additional fees especially when I was already paying a $40 per night resort service fee. Also it was clear and confirmed by one of the staff that this property allows drop ins to visit the pool area for $40 a day. So on many occasions over the weekend, pool chairs were not available and taken up by those who were not paying to stay at this property but as drop ins. That needs to change as paying guests and families staying at this resort should have first top priority at the pool not drop in guests. On Friday, a group of drop ins took over an entire section of the pool making it hard for resort guests to hunt down pool chairs. Also I didn't see any staff except life guards in the family pool, roaming the pool area and helping to open up chairs for guests like I see at many resorts. Many guests were either forgetting to take towels off of chairs or keeping then there for hours to save chairs and come back later which didn't allow for other guests to use them during peak hours.

View from our lake view balcony was amazing and the property was very clean and well kept. The pool was amazing. I will make the a regular stop for our weekend couple's getaway!

The fixtures and fittings were a little dated. Room had a damp smell when you walked in. There was a very fine line between too hot and too cold with the shower but all in all nothing to complain about.

Location was great, lovely view over the lake. I liked how the pools were split up to adults only and kids. They had freshly baked cookies in the lobby daily which was great. Bed was super comfy!

The building is older but has been cosmetically updated, we enjoyed it.

We loved the view from our lake view balcony room on the top floor and playing in the pools. The kid's pool did not feel heated and the slides were not turned on since we were there on a weekday (Monday). The pool bar closed early but the drink we got was good and priced as expected for a resort pool bar.
