The only challenge is the stairs to climb down and back up from downtown area. But, the views are absolutely worth the climb.

Resa and Chris are top-notch and very welcoming and full of warmth and interest in making people feel like they’re part of the family. We made some new friends and strong connection to the Lamberson Guest House this weekend. We’re already thinking about the future and returning with friends again soon! Jeff and Steph were wonderful hosts. We had last minute reservations on a holiday weekend and they were very accommodating and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious as well. Definitely a place we would stay at again.

Absolutely nothing, everything was as close to perfect as I have experienced, and I travel worldwide for business.

We stay at a fair number of Bed and Breakfasts (and dozens of Hilton and Marriott hotels) each year and this was easily the best experience we have had. The house is beautiful and very nicely decorated, the location is great, but what sets it apart is the exceptional interaction with the owners/staff. We had wine and cheese each afternoon on the patio and got to know everyone.

The hosts went beyond what we expected to make us feel at home. We loved the wine and snack tray each afternoon. The breakfasts were delicious and served beautifully. The guest room had everything we needed with special touches added. The home was tastefully decorated. It was in a quiet part of town.

We loved everything about our stay at Lamberson House!! The breakfasts were superb with fabulous presentation and attention to detail. The house is so beautiful and comfortable and very welcoming. Chris and Resa are excellent hosts and make you feel like family from the start…along with their dog, Lucy and cat, Jack. We loved Happy Hour at 4pm and the wonderful beds and linens, too! Didn’t want to leave and are already trying to plan when we can go back again!

The property is gorgeous and well appointed, in an ideal setting for both views and access to town. Resa and Chris are superior hosts! Incredibly welcoming and engaging-they truly care about your stay. There were little things like trays of cheese and fruit + wine upon arrival plus, the breakfasts were outrageous! Maple bacon glazed french toast, eggs benedict, home-made scones, fruit-just wow! The other couple happened to be celebrating a birthday and Resa bought her a gift from the local apothecary (which we learned is modeled after Schitt’s Creek’s apothecary)! A relaxing and wonderful weekend all around.

The property is in excellent condition. It is immaculate. Very spacious. It had an old time charm with modern bathrooms. The house is exceptionally clean. The host are fantastic. Excellent meals. Very nice happy hour. The location is perfect. This B&B experience could not have been better. I can not think of 1 thing that the host could improve.

It was our first bed and breakfast experience, the Lamberson Guest House did not disappoint. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. Our room was inviting and relaxing, a charcuterie tray and beverages were waiting for us each afternoon. The three course breakfast was a delicious feast each morning. The outdoor patio was the perfect place to visit with other guests and our hosts. We will definitely be visiting again.
