Location is prime. Staff was accommodating and nice, there was a hold up with our room and the way staff handled it was great. There's not much more I can say.

While the facility has all the necessary comfort amenities for its type, it feels a bit worn in hallways and rooms to have that final shine. Everything worked but for example it Needs a good carpet cleaning and cleaning of scuff marks on walls in the halls. However you can tell the staff is aware, cares and is trying to keep the establishment fixed and relevant. The staff might try to keep their back of the house management efforts/complaints separate from their presentation to the guests to improve the experience.

Staff was actively engaged in maintaining facilities. Room had all amenities as advertised and working. Pool area works. Proximity to Cal Poly.

the pillows on the beds. they are small and uncomfortable. the bed it's self is fine but the pillows made for an unsatisfactory nights rest. these pillows are the only reason i am not staying here on my next visit to the area in june.

the price and location make this a perfect spot for an overnight stop on a longer trip up the coast. this is the third time i have done this. the highway access and proximity to the dowtown area are both big pluses.

The room was hot, so we had to keep the window open, but it did not have a screen on it. The place could benefit from a remodel.

Location is walking distance from CalPoly and Downtown SLO (within 20 minutes or so). Parking was easy.

It was not the property's fault but there was a heavy smell of tobacco and weed coming from the parking lot. Board signs should be implemented to address this kind of events. The staff was kind enough to give me a spray. Service was good.

The couch, table and chairs in the room needs to be upgraded. It also could’ve been cleaner, especially the bathroom. I was a little disappointed, I guess I expected the family suite to be nicer than it was.

I didn’t know there was breakfast, wasn’t told by staff when I checked in.

The key card mechanism built into our room's door was not working, we had to use a key which was no problem for our few days there. But on our last night, another guest seemed to have the same problem and needed the same key as we were already using. Luckily, it was our final evening and we no longer needed the key, But there is some minor upkeep that could be better attended to around the facility, like cobwebs in outside areas and small holes in wall, etc. .

Please change the bedspreads/blankets between guest stays and softer sheets would go a long way. ☺️

Great no-frills place near Cal Poly. Rooms are overall clean and comfortable but they don’t appear to wash the bedspreads (they had fresh unidentified stains on them in my two different rooms, ew), and my toilet didn’t flush first night, but I changed rooms. The staff is wonderful, especially Kathy. And they are VERY accommodating with requests. Rooms seem to have very good sound proofing, which is huge bonus, and the location is great.

Close to Cal Poly. Inexpensive. You get what you pay for! We were "upgrade d" to a big room, with three queen beds, across the street from the main building. Pretty shoddy place: dirty drapes, old bed coverings, lots of litter outside, dead plants in gardens, kids upstairs running and yelling til 9 pm., dead plants, a few ants scurrying about in the bathroom. Beds were comfortable, and I was glad to have an $86/night room to crash in for a night while getting my child settled n at CP.
