The air conditioning was very noisy so couldn't keep them on overnight.

The King room was very spacious, modern decorations and very comfy bed. It also had a large separate lounge area and own verandah entrance. It was central to everything.

Cheap furniture , no water, few towels, not enough sheets and comforters for fold out that would make it a comfortable place to sleep.

I have stayed at Kimpton hotels for years. Initially their boutique atmosphere with some fun decor attracted me to Kimpton e.g. San Francisco Hotel Monaco and the DC Kimpton. But at this location, I felt Kimpton had cut corners. The furniture is not the same quality and the prices are much higher though DC and SF are not inexpensive places to visit.

One morning I woke up to a cockroach walking across my forehead. I realize that bugs (especially in a tropical environment) can get into rooms. It was disturbing nonetheless and I couldn't get back to sleep. The pool was warm every day that I was there. I wish that they did pump overs overnight or topped it off with cool water every morning (the pool was never full due to evaporation).

The location was great and the staff were all wonderful! The rooms were very comfortable and the grounds were perfectly manicured. The front desk person was very helpful with any questions and replacing room keys. The bartender was fun and helpful with suggestions to enjoy our time in the city.

The rooms are very small, needs some work done. Our shower had black mold on the wall and paint peeling in the bathroom.

The staff were unwelcoming. We were not provided assistance in terms of luggage and parking was too two blocks away from the property and we had to drag luggage ourselves. If you are driving and traveling solo, we won't recommend this place as one of us had to hop off and sort the check-in and parking matter while the other was driving around because there were no parking spots available anywhere near the property.

We liked the historical aspect of the property and that it was a close walking distance to the main streets and historical sights.

very small pool in shade much of day and hot location, people walking by came in to use the one toilet near pool causing queues- surely at $ 700 a night it should be for guests ?

lovely renovated lighthouse inn hotel, individually deigned rooms- ours was big but some are smaller- free light breakfast was welcome , decor is lovely beds comfortable , location is good and a few free parking spots outside on road , good aircon in room

Understanding that the bathroom was small, it was still poorly designed. The sink was so narrow (depth) and the mirror frame so close, that it was difficult to wash our faces. Although the A/C worked well, it was very loud. The breakfast offering was minimal at best.

The room was nicely decorated. The room size was suitable for the two of us. The room air conditioner worked well. The hotel has a great location.
