Maybe a tad more storage in the room (not a big deal),....The restaurants are limited & not always open, but Payson is a short ride away as is Strawberry...

This is a one of a kind privately owned 'boutique' Lodge, 2 level with limited number of rooms (8-9). It is very well maintained, unique & classy décor throughout, done very well, warm & inviting. Along with breath taking views throughout. plenty of parking spaces for clients, a lovely bakery coupled with a covered observation deck for viewing and having time to relax while eating..no rush here! Owners on premises working & making sure all is going well for the guests, maintaining the spotless grounds & 'trying' to keep the Elk visitors from eating everything growing there. My wife & I have traveled a lot over the years & this was our first time to Pine, AZ. to explore the area for 3 nights...by the time we left it felt like leaving your family! Beautiful Place, Great hosts (Lisa & Brian), friendly town (for the most part). We can't wait to come back!!

there wasn’t anything we did not like about this property. I spent time talking with Brian and the staff while we were on property. very friendly and more over very passionate about what they have done to make this place a treasure! the best place we have ever stayed at! I will definitely make this a regular weekend get a way destination. they are also equipped for weddings and corporate functions. everyone should make this a must stay get a way. more than a 5 star rating! Nothing, honestly, we wished we were staying longer!

Great stay! Love the view, the easy checkin, the coffee shop. The room is very comfy and spacious, we loved our dog being welcomed with us. Had everything we needed and a super short drive to the hearr of Pine or Strawberry!

We would like to have a little more privacy on the patio, your so close to the neighbors. But it’s not a deal breaker, we will be back.

The views were outstanding. The atmosphere was peaceful and tranquil. Just grab a glass of wine and sit outside unwind and enjoy the stars! The owners are friendly and accommodating.

We loved the Lodge at 5600! This new 8 room hotel is wonderful, the luxurious room, amazing views, location by Pine and close to Strawberry for dining & shopping made for an excellent escape to the cool mountain air. They provide easy contactless arrival which we really liked, our room was on the 2nd floor with a balcony and those mountain views. The room was super clean, very relaxing with an electric fireplace and the bathroom/shower simply awesome! We even sat on the upper pavilion one afternoon to enjoy a glass of wine and the incredible views. The landscaping on the property is so beautiful with lots of places to sit and there are several yard games to enjoy. We were so happy to meet the owners Lisa & Brian, they are very friendly, made us feel safe & comfortable during our visit. Thank you for providing us with a few snacks and water bottles in our room. The breakfast offered as stated above. Also we did have someone in the room next to us the 2nd night. They stayed up late with people in their room talking loud and laughing. We didn’t know what to do?!

The food down in the cafe they have now is overpriced for guests paying a lot of money to stay there. Would also like clean towels on our 2nd night as well as a room refresh?!

I think the pipes were making noise. Not sure what was causing it. Need cleaning services. Coffee shop needs work and organization. Need hooks in bathroom for hanging towels and robes.

The location was great. The room was very nice. Liked the view.

It was NOT the staff’s fault but a howling wind storm came up our first night there and blew all night It was so loud that it made it hard to sleep. The wind ripped the outdoor painting off the other side of our bedroom wall and made a horrendous noise throughout the night. Again, it was not the fault of the inn keepers but it did make the first night there unpleasant. The second night was perfect!

Loved the cozy decor, the gorgeous view and close proximity to the family we were spending Thanksgiving with.
