How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I don’t like the smells in the walk way
Me an my family come to this area every year to attend the strawberry festival peopl think it’s a far drive but I really enjoyed come back from a long day to a nice quit private place not to mention the key pad lock was everything I don’t haft to go check in an stand in long line filling out paperwork thanks I will definitely visit again

The sheets on my bed had spots on them. The trash was not picked up daily.
Location was great. The place was Spacious.

The only thing that I didn’t like was the stained carpet, but you can tell they tried their best to clean it other than that it was amazing.
This property exceeded my expectations was clean, spacious, comfortable and close to everything. I really enjoyed this place. Please book you want be disappointed.

Management company was disorganized and hard to reach. Initial access to the property was a chore. A supposed service person entered the unit without notice or even knocking. There was no issue to be dealt with. Very suspicious. Made us feel insecure.

Pool was very warm. Could not enjoy. Did not have wash clothes. But if this is the only thing, who can complain.
Came in for the weekend. Loved the space, decor, comfortable beds. Has everything you need and then some. They even had a pop up baby bed, stroller, and high chair in the closet. We visit the area often and will be looking into booking here again.

Ants everywhere inside, dishes in the cabinet were dirty, no hand soap in the bathroom, ac always reverted to higher temp in the night. Would wake up sweating and have to turn back down.

When they tell you to let them know within 24 hrs before your checkout would like to extend your stay for a couple more hours or another day and I asked before 24 hours could I extend my hours a little longer and they already had someone else booked.I feel like they should've waited to see if someone was gone respond to stay first before booking someone else

I booked this apartment on Booking.com and I paid for an apartment consisting of 2 king beds in 2 of the bedrooms and 2 queen beds in the 3rd bedroom. When I arrived, my apartment consisted of 2 king beds and 2 twin beds. The apartment was very nice but 4 of my grown guests had to sleep on the twin beds and the uncomfortable sofa bed. I contact the apartment (Casiola luxury apartment) and a very rude representative stated I booked what I had received and if I had a problem I’d needed to contact Booking.com. The first day I tried to contact Booking.com, I was on hold for over 3 hours trying to speak to someone just to get disconnected. I eventually gave up. The next day I tried early in the morning to reach someone. I eventually did after 15-20 mins. After I explained to the gentleman my problem, immediately we mysterious got disconnected. I called back and spoke to a lady and she confirmed what I had booked and paid for. Even my account confirmed what I had booked …… 2 king beds and 2 queen beds. Thing is when I told her what I actually received, I incorrectly said the apartment consisted of 1 king in the first bedroom, 1 queen in the second and 2 twin in the 3rd bedroom. I told her I did not mind the queen bed in the second bedroom but the twin beds would not work at all. She said she would contact Casiola to resolve the problem and call me back. She never did so I called again. Nothing got resolved but to make matters worst Booking.com changed the description of the apartment I purchased on my account to what I told them I had received to cover there misdeeds. I believe Booking.com is the real culprit in the matter. I believe I paid them for 2 king beds and 2 queen beds but they booked the cheaper apartment instead and kept the difference in the price. I will never do business with Booking.com again .
