Having been on the road for 10 hours and being up since 4am, I very much wanted to hit the hay pretty much soon after checking in at 9.30pm. However, the guests in the room above me prevented my stay from being in any way peaceful. The floorboards/ceiling allowed every single stomp of their elephant feet to be heard, together with the bowling balls they appeared to be dropping until at least 1am. I was too exhausted to leave the room to let the front desk know & there aren’t any phones in the room, but do bear this in mind when booking. Avoid the ground floor!

It was a last minute reservation as a quick overnight on a road trip, so I didn’t make use of any of the facilities aside from the room. The lady on reception was absolutely lovely and upgraded me from a double on the second floor to a king on the ground floor.

There were a bunch of men sitting around the pool smoking so I didn't really feel comfortable and didn't want to be surrounded by smoke in the pool.

The room was located close to where I needed to be, however, there's not much around it as far as entertainment. I believe there may have been one restaurant and one coffee shop within walking distance (I mention this because I was having my car serviced and was without a vehicle). The employee who checked me in was very friendly and helpful (especially when the wrong name was accidentally put on the reservation). The room and hotel itself seemed very clean. The room itself was super comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering the hotel is on a major highway. The bed was extremely comfortable and the curtains were awesome (kept the room really dark even in the middle of the day). They do offer breakfast, but it is hand held/to go and extremely limited (danish, muffins, premade coffee, etc.), but welcome if you're in a pinch and there's not much around. They also have a small gym and pool. I would recommend/stay here again if I'm in the area.

Could use a deep clean now and then (although the main surfaces were clean) there was a large hair clip (not ours) under the nightstand and dust bunnies behind the bathroom door.

Hotel Pensacola was a pleasant surprise. It was clean. The staff was friendly. I did not use the pool but it looked nice. For the price, I was expecting a lot less. More than happy. Will stay again.

The breakfast could have used some fruit. My wife has some allergies and there was ZERO she could eat of the items provided.

Clean and great price. Did stay overnight while my Dad was in the hospital. Easy check in. This isn’t necessarily a dislike, so I’ll list it here. I am one to bring my own pillows because I love the ones I used, the hotel pillows were thinner than what I use , so I used my own.

Needs a BREAKFAST .!.! The hallway side door wouldn’t lock. Nor were the back doors out to the pool not safe !! Anyone could have just walked Up in the building. Kinda spooky

The room we stayed in had a ceiling fan that looked like it had not been dusted since the hotel opened. I'd suggest getting rid of the fan or dusting. Lol

Arrived 40 minutes after booking a deluxe king on the ground floor and was told they didn’t have any more. Ended up with two queens. Still comfortable, but I don’t know whether the Hotel gave away our booking, or Booking.com sold us a non-existent room.

The hotel is a little older and had some awkward "redneck engineered" updates, as someone would do in their own home instead of a hotel.

There was a weird smell in our room the whole stay. While first appearances the room looks clean, there were fingerprints all over the tv and on head boards. Bathroom needs some paint and looked worn compared to the rest of the room. The floors are really nice until you are on the first floor and you have kids running around above you then you wish there was carpet again!

The staff were friendly and hotel was clean in the lobby.
