Just wish there was easier access to pool area from our room.

The heated pool along with all thr free ice cream,drinks and snacks. My 3 kids really enjoyed it. Myself and my husband enjoyed the free coffee and laundry facility.

The only thing we did not like, and we’re being a little nit picky here, is the loud noise the AC made.

We really liked all the extras the hotel had to offer such as free ice cream, an extra service to have your clothes cleaned but first an foremost, the apartment was really clean. Moreover, the location is +++, we were only 2 streets away from the Walk of fame. So overal I would really reccomend this place to anyone! Another plus was ofcourse the ‘inside pool’ ;)

Make sure to stay at the yellow complex, not the white side building as this building doesn’t compare to the iconic stay at the main complex. It is noteworthy that this hotel is across an open park area with tents of homeless people. Walking on these streets to the Chinese Theatre at night is also not recommendable. Some sketchy people are there, but at the hotel area we didn’t experience any of this. The hotel was a safe space. A fun experience for kids!

Great service and accomodation with special character of the 1950s. The coffee machine was great. Although the complimentary breakfast was limited, they still had fresh fruit (tangerine and banana) and good cereal. The staff was very welcoming and the complimentary laundry services were very good (felt and smelled so fresh! we also got some lavender plant tied to our laundry, very nice!)

Building particularly the bathrooms could use some updating.

Staff are awesome and it is a great hotel for kids. Location is very close to both Hollywood Boulevard and Runyon Canyon where we went walking each morning. Generous continental breakfast each morning. Free snacks and popsicles for the kids. Pool is cute with a nice retro feel.

Comfortable, perfect location, vibe and free snacks, soda machine, popsicle hotline, daily room service and 24 hour heated pool with pool towels, sun lotion and always free sunbeds. Loved it.

I can honestly say there was nothing we disliked. Yes maybe some updating is needed to rooms but it did not impact on our stay

The outside of the hotel is very run down, but rest assured inside it was great.

Our children thought this was the best hotel ever because of the snacks! The staff are incredibly attentive and nothing was an issue. The pool is small but warm. Location is only 1 block from hollywood.

We stayed in a two bedroom and used the sofa bed. The sheets on the sofa were dirty and had a big brown stain on them. We brought our own sheets, so it was not a serious problem.

we really enjoyed our stay there. The breakfast in the morning was great. the snacks you can get at the front desk, The red phone at the pool, And the staff were great and very accomodating.

EVERYTHING!! The staff is AMAZING! the hotel is an old school apartment complex with rooms bigger than my apartment, lol!! The free snacks, chips, candy, soft serve and a popsicle hotline at the 24 hour heated pool (85 degrees)….amazing. not only is it family friendly, it’s adult friendly as well. makes you feel like you’re at Willy Wonka’s place with the unlimited goodies at your beck and call. only thing missing are the Oompa Loompa‘s lol!! already booked our next stay before leaving the hotel :) thanks for the good time Magic Castle Hotel. see you in October.

We love Magic Castle Hotel. This trip was great except the extremely loud guests above us banging and pounding all night long. We did not get much sleep this visit due to the noise.

The showers need more water pressure and no cups in the room. It would be good to have more dishes, etc. it would be good to have more environmentally friendly recycling in the rooms
