I truly can't think of anything. I really have no complaints or improvements to suggest.

The breakfast was very good. I believe the hotel had recently been renovated. It was in very good shape and extremely clean and decorated attractively. The bed was comfortable. And the best thing for someone with arthritis and fibromyalgia... the wonderful recliner. Every hotel should have one in every room. It truly made the difference of being able to do more site seeing and other activities. Thank you!

Bathroom layout was odd - first thing you see is the toilet and you have to close the door to get to the vanity/sink. Plenty of hot water and water pressure in shower was good but the shower head was pretty low. AC unit was loud and didn’t seem to keep a consistent temperature. The breakfast is included and is pretty good, but they really make sure no food leaves the breakfast area! Don’t even think about taking a piece of fruit or muffin for later and no food goes back to your room! I get that some people probably take advantage and load up on to-go food, but the number of signs and their telling you at check in seemed excessive.

Good location and easy to find, clean rooms and reasonably up-to-date decor, felt safe, and good breakfast. Friendly staff, quiet area, comfy bed and pillows. The parking lot seems to have been recently repaved so it was nice; no potholes that seem so common in some places. Welcoming exterior. It’s just outside of Munising but it’s an easy and quick drive to the city and the dock for the Pictured Rocks cruises. Also close to many waterfalls.

On Sunday morning I really wanted to use the whirl pool but there was a cover on it and it looked grimy looking and I later found out that the staff wanted the customers to pull the cover off and I thought that would be up to the staff to do!

Located just outside of Munising so the rates reflect being adjacent to a tourist area. This same hotel located in any other random small town would be about 1/2 the price. It’s mid-range for hotels in that area. Keeping that in mind, there was nothing extraordinary about the hotel to warrant the higher price. Just the location. The room was clean and quiet. We had 2nd floor room overlooking the rear of the property- grass and trees- and we were able to keep the window open all night with no noise. That alone was worth it! The room itself was comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast included hot eggs, sausage, gravy and biscuits. The staff was professional and a bit chilly. But pleasant enough.

There are signs everywhere telling you what not to do. It felt ridiculous-don’t take more food than you can eat. Eat only in the dining room, don’t take any food out of room etc. etc. The room was over $200.00 including tax. We realize that it is a short season, but the hotel has few amenities to support the nightly fee.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We liked the reclining chair and decor. Breakfast was great for a continental breakfast. Staff were very friendly and professional.

Woman at breakfast was crabby. Sign in the room threatening a $500 add on if tye room was smoked in Neither of us smoke but if they charged us hiw could I prove it?
