I pretty much liked everything about it. It was pretty dated. It has wood panel walls. But it was very comfortable .

Nice property very friendly staff the room is exactly like the pictures. Parking right in front of your room nice breakfast spread in the morning coffee juice cereal yogurt and a variety of bread bagels and muffins.

Good, convenient, clean and comfortable. This is the 3rd time we have stayed here in the last year. While breakfast is a bit lean. Everything else is very good vale for the price. And the Staff is always extremely nice and helpful.

Room smelled damp and musty. Evidence of flooding. My wife’s nightgown took on the room odor which still reeked the next night’s stay at our next location. Live outlet (120v) hanging off the wall with tv and lamp still plugged in. Motel built in early 70’s.

No paper cups in room. Toilets were too low. Non smoking room smelled smokey. The heat was extremely noisy and didn't work well.

We loved everything! The staff were fabulous. The room was great, it had lovely wooden floorboards, spacious, fridge & microwave, was very clean. Our room was on the side we didn’t face the street, we were there on a long weekend but it was nice and quiet. Free breakfast was great.

Not updated; showed its age. We booked & paid for a room with 2 queen beds. When we checked in, they were not available. The staff said they “upgraded us” to a suite. What a joke! One queen bed and a pull out couch!! Mediocre bare-minimum breakfast; Cereal with yogurt. Lukewarm coffee.

The hotel was in a great area. It was minutes from things to do and there were plenty of places to go and eat. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean and quiet. The rooms had everything you needed in them.

The only thing I did not like was how fast time goes seams like I just get there and then it's time to leave

I usually don't wake up in time for breakfast so I can't comment on that but location can't be beat just outside of Jim Thorp a historic little town then not far from Bethlehem just 5 miles away from the world's largest country store.

Staff was nice, facility was shabby and dirty

Location was fine. Breakfast was minimal--dry cereal, mini muffins. Coffee was hot. Biggest issue: room was gross. Dingy, thin sheets, uncomfortable mattresses, sticky old carpet. There were burn marks on the mini fridge, a burn hole on the bed linens, cracked bathroom tiles, beat up walls. It stank like cleaner, even after airing out. We almost walked on 300 bucks just to get out of this dump.

The room was dirty, housekeeping only took trash out and replaced towels, $ was taken out of my account prior to our arriving and acknowledgement. Staff was unfriendly. We were told we had queen beds, we had full beds. The room was very overpriced for what we received The bathroom door wouldn't shut unless you slammed it. The front door was the same, we put a chair in front for double protection for security.

We liked that it was close to where we were exploring.

The Mahoning Inn was perfect for what I needed it for - a place to sleep overnight to tour the town of Jim Thorpe. The room was spacious, there was a refrigerator, a king sized bed, it was clean and the price was right. The front desk staff was super nice and they had a basic continental breakfast in the morning. It was exactly what I expected - a roadside motel, but a very clean version of that! If you're looking for a fancy chain hotel, this is not for you. If you need a clean, comfortable, spacious place to stay, I can recommend the Mahoning Inn.

The room smelled musty when we first walked in. The floor behind the beds was dusty.

Location was great. Breakfast was fine, and a nice surprise. We didn't think there was breakfast included. Beds were comfy. We came to PA for a funeral and were able to book the room the day before.
