There was 1 maintenance issue ( torn out screen) but the front desk was friendly about taking my concern down.

We came in on a stormy Saturday night and were very happy to have the kitchenette available so we wouldn't have to go out in the rain. The bed was comfortable, room was clean and had space to sit and eat. I always wonder about location and safety when I pick out unknown lodging- this was close to stores and restaurants and within walking distance - I felt pretty safe. Breakfast on weekends consists of eggs, hash browns, sausage and the usual waffles, bread and cereal- not sure about breakfast during the week.

I showed up for breakfast on Sunday morning at 9am. (They told me when I checked in breakfast was from 6am to 11am on weekends). The food was wiped out. I asked the girl at the front desk if there was anymore. With a snotty attitude she said when its gone its gone and I should have gotten there earlier.

Stayed 4 nights for business, I was pleased with the clean room and the bed was comfortable.

booking.com advertised free breakfast but that was not the case. they only offer that on weekends. no adjustment was made to the price of our stay.

The young man who checked us in was also the chief maintanance person on duty. Our TV set wasn't working so we called for service. He was at our room within 5 minutes and fixed the problem quickly. Impressive! He also gave us a great tip on where to have dinner. Many thanks!

breakfast was supposed to be included which was a large factor in why we chose to stay but their kitchen was closed with a sorry for the inconvenience sign and a box of donuts :( room service also walked in without knocking while i was changing because they thought we checked out but were very nice about it, still uncomfortable though.

property was very nice, close to the mall and also the city/campus. exactly what we wanted. they offer “things you have at home” like toaster ovens which was very nice and had a great mini kitchen in the room.

Be aware that breakfast is now offered only on the weekends, Saturday and Sunday, and no longer on the weekdays. We didn't know that prior to arriving and we were surprised. Fortunately, this place has coffee available 24/7 all through the week, and it wasn't bad coffee either, with a nice variety of creamers, etc.

The room we stayed in was small, but clean. The bed was very comfortable and we were thankful for that. We also liked that it was quiet in our room, and we couldn't hear much traffic and/or people walking down the halls. We felt this hotel was more "sound-proof" than others we've stayed at.

See above. Also breakfast was OK, but nothing to write home about. Didn't appreciate (1) night of our stay being jacked up ($90 price increase) because of the football game. Clerk couldn't give me my AAA or AARP discount because I booked through Booking.com

Room furnishings/decor were somewhat dated. Couch was frayed along the edges. Kitchenette was nice and well stocked. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Water coming out of the bathtub faucet/spigot was rusty and brown, showerhead water however, was clear. Sink in the bathroom could stand to be re-caulked, looked a little shaky.

My only wish was for more breakfast options. That being said, I was still able to have a waffle, juice, and coffee.

We stayed one night on our way to Maine. The location was great, and the staff was very friendly. The room was a decent size, clean, and pretty comfortable. Our large dog was with us and had lots of grassy space to walk.

The only thing I would say is, I felt the whole hotel was a little dark maybe an update with a brighter color making it look more current. I would definitely stay there again though.

The location for us was great for University Iowa graduation. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was good and fully stocked.

I've written before. It is not honest to advertise a "hot breakfast." The only hot option is waffles (unhealthy) or instant oatmeal. Minimally, there should be some kind of hot egg option. There should also be fresh fruit. The coffee is mediocre at best. Also, the rooms have thin walls and you can really hear neighbors.

The location was perfect for my needs. The staff is absolutely tremendous at every juncture.

The heating was a challenge to bring down yo a comfortable temperature for sleeping.

They gave us a discount for our dogs since they are small. They charged us for one instead of two. It was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel seems to cater to workers which is great. Unfortunately, I asked to be placed in a quiet area in which I was not. Next door to my room was a person who was noisy and having loud sex bumping the walls. It was laughable. I wasn't able to sleep. I feel that special requests should at least be heard. The room overall was very good. I don't believe I will stay there again due to the noise especially when the men workers are getting up at 5- 7 am too much noise. Sorry I'm brutally honest.

For such a huge room, it had like a 32” or 40” TV like a mile from the bed. The lady at the front desk talked after than an auctioneer, good thing I was running on all cylinders.
