Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesMy expectation was for 2 rooms with 2 queen beds. We received 1 room that has 1 bed and a hide a bed. Both rooms were the same price. The hide a bed was not comfortable for an adult. I was not happy. The staff on night shift was not able to change the prices and said it was due to booking online.

The bed and pillows were wonderful. The room was not huge had everything that I was looking for. i was surprised to see a 2 burner stove and full sized refrigerator. Also thought that the card in with the room keys offering discounts at restaurants close to the location was a good touch.

United StatesWe got a suite with a kitchen and there were only 2 of each 2 plates, 2 bowls, 2 cups, 2 forks, 2 knives, etc. Need more especially since we were in a room that could sleep 6. This was my biggest complaint. Need to have enough for 4-6 people. When I asked for more they said they didn't have anymore. Beds were very hard. Breakfast was not good, could be better.
Location was good. Clean rooms. Liked being able to sit out back on their patio.

United StatesIce machine and elevator looked like they had been wiped down with a dirty rag and the carpet in the elevator was hideous. Room itself seemed to be clean with the exception of a couple pillows that looked dengy and yellowish. Toilet paper holder was about to fall out of the wall. NO DO NOT DISTURB SIGNS TO PUT ON THE DOOR! Made one out of paper and put it in the key slot and housekeeping still tried to enter, luckily had the latch set. TV channels were an issue, to many non English channels and slow response when you selected a channel and no way to know what was on the channels without selecting it.
Waffles and muffins, nix the powdered eggs and add some flavored creamers for coffee would be nice.
