Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustriaWe are camping type of people so staying in a yurt was glamorous camping. The directions to the spot were great because this spot is well hidden. The beds were very comfortable, (2 queens). We brought our own drinking water which wasn't a problem. Just like staying in a tent, we heard the birds and wild roosters at dawn. It is a great experience for a few nights. Close to PCC.

United StatesThe sofa bed was VERY uncomfortable for our 2 children.
Overall a good experience-price was nice, great to be outdoors- but it is camping. Roosters start crowing very early, tent leaked a little in the rain, etc. Glad we stayed there, but we were ready to go after 3 nights.

I love the big tent and the nature surroundings. The lightings work well during the night. Loved it!

CanadaToo many instructions to find the place, The place is not far from Polynesian Cultural centre. Maybe host meet guests and lead them to location for the first time .A sign for the property as a rural farm area and no way to know where it is
The accommodation itself amazing. Owners amazing. Location very hard to find, A sign leading into property would help. Once there a few times, it is not a problem . Property lovely but really muddy if rains. We were also not used to commercial fireworks going off at 1 am but apparently normal at any time of the year. The location geographically 100 percent, Close to pipeline and North Island town, close to great parks and showers. The cost is great compared to Waikiki hotels. Overall experience very good.

ColombiaPoor illumination inside the tent and there is no charge station for the phone. There weren't any toilets available so you have to go to the beach anytime you need. The mobile reception is very poor which makes it difficult to communicate. You need a good car 4wd or SUV with explorer lights to get there. Hence there is not much light outside if you arrive at night and lot of mud at the entrance. There were red ants which was a bit of a nightmare while sleeping on the bed. No parking lot available so you need to park in front of the tent. The other customers were very noisy after late hours.
The bed was comfy and the tent big enough. Eccentric view of the sky at night time.

Czech RepublicThere was no one around when we arrived and we were a bit confused about what to do… After a while of waiting we were able to connect with the owner. There is no electricity, no running water and no toilet. We were told on the phone that the toilets are just across the street, but they are actually about 10 minutes away by foot. I would recommend to put a portable toilet there. They cannot seriously think that people will be walking or driving there each time they need to use the bathroom. We never met the owners or anyone working there. It will be a great place when they get the toilets and showers done, but now we thought that the price for just the tent was quite high. We were glad that we only stayed one night.
The tents are nice, comfortable and large, location also good

United StatesWildly overpriced for this creepy place with no potable water, and no security. I was a woman travelling alone staying in a tent without any kind of lock. There was also no onsite staff. I ran into a friendly staff person by accident. The tents were right next to a large storage container. There were a couple of weird shacks on the premises, some of which had toilets and showers but no potable water. I am wondering why the water is not potable as it was right by a farm. Were there fertilizers in the water? Would it have been safe to shower or brush teeth in the water? many questions. Do not recommend. You can actually find a hotel in Waikiki for this price that is near the beach, has a pool, coffee and snacks and a fitness center. Do not recommend. I like camping but this place should charge less than a hostel. It has less going for it than any good campsite or hostel.
the bed was comfortable and, unlike some other reviewers, I thought the lighting was not only adequate but pleasant.

United StatesHosts are indifferent to their guests. Upon arrival it was unclear which tent we were assigned to. The people onsite were not very welcoming. There was no information provided about emergency contacts or things to see in the area. When we did meet the owner - by chance - she didn't introduce herself. We had been told drinking water would be available but owner told us she'd forgotten to charge battery to electric pump. Chuckled at her own forgetfulness completely oblivious to the inconvenience this might cause. 24 hours later it was still non-functional. Nobody took the trash out which drew insects. Interior of our tent was moldy. We overheard the owner telling her friends the canvas material was only a few months old. There are vents that can be opened on the sides (although we were never told how they worked). They tell guests to keep them closed which may be a reason why so much mold has grown so quickly. It can be *very* hot and stifling in the tents even in mild weather if the vents are not opened right away. It's a pity. With a little bit of effort toward hospitality this could be a nice place to stay. But the owners don't seem to have a clue.
There's not a lot of affordable accommodation on the North Shore so this seemed like a decent option. It's definitely quiet and out of the way and amidst a pretty setting. It's not camping because there are beds are comfortable and nice -- hence the 'glamping' designation. But glamorous it is not!

United StatesAccess to a broom, we were there for a week and would have liked to have swept out sand and dirt after a day or two.
Wonderful location, close to town, yet secluded enough to be quiet and private. We were there for an entire week, so longer than most. Host was friendly and helpful, camp bathrooms and showers were cleaned each day. Never had to wait for resources since there were several on site.

SpainIt is so hard to find where the "glamping" is located. There are not visible signs until you reach the entrance of the property which is on the middle of a grass where we never thought we could drive through. We tried to plug the lights inside of the tent as one of our neighbors told us and lights were not working. There was a linkage inside of the tent and one of our bags got wet with all the clothes inside. Nobody was there for us to ask for help. No hot water and no electricity at all. I would never called this place "glamping" at all because it has nothing glamorous.
The bed was comfortable.

CanadaThere are many things we did not like. There was no soap in the washroom facility. There was no hot or warm water for showering. When we attempted to contact the host to help us turn the solar lights on, no one answered the phone (multiple times). The host did not come to meet us at all during our stay. The bed mattresses were comfortable, but the top sheets were thin and we were cold sleeping on a rainy Dec night. Even though we properly closed all zippers to the tent, the tent leaked and there were puddles at the side. Luckily we kept most of our items in hard shell luggage and in our vehicle. The tent fabric has started to mold in places and did not appear as new as advertised. The location is unlocked day and night and we saw locals wandering intoxicated nearby which didn’t make our children feel very safe for sleeping. Overall this was not worth $300 USD/night we were charged. Maybe for $100 or less, but certainly NOT a $300/night stay.
The two beds were comfortable.

BelgiumAfter careful consideration and witnessing my fiancé's tears over the discomfort, I made the decision to book a different place. The less-than-charming nature, coupled with muddy terrain, toad encounters, and the inconvenience of shared facilities, proved too much to bear. In search of a more comfortable and enjoyable escape, we opted for an alternative accommodation that better aligns with our expectations for a restful and charming retreat.

SwitzerlandThe host deliberately lied to us twice about the bathrooms. It said in the Ad that there were private bathrooms, she then informed us two hours before the free cancellation period ended that there were only pubilc bathrooms close by. When we arrived we had to learn that that was not true either (they were much further away AND CLOSED from 9pm to 9am). We were very disappointed. We still had to pay for one night although we did not get what we booked. Ruined part of our trip.
The tents are pretty and big and the location is also nice, a bit far if you are travelling by bus.
