A small point but the outside of the hotel is so ugly and does not do justice to the interior or quality of service. Not a negative but about a mile from centre of new haven.

The location is a little odd (right next to an IKEA and off highway roads but once we got a bearings, we had everything we needed.

Our experience was great! We loved that the hotel was carbon neutral and everything was very clean and comfortable.

Exterior is not nearly as attractive as the interior. The immediate neighborhood around it is a little industrial.

Modern and beautiful interior design. Very consistent from the lobby though the guestrooms. Very thoughtfully redeveloped. Very close the Yale and the New Haven downtown.

If you're looking for scenic views or a pleasant walk into downtown New Haven or Yale, this is not your spot. The views are all very industrial.

We were looking for a midway point to stop between Vermont and Philadelphia, and this checked so many boxes. Ample charging stations for our EV. Right off the highway easy in and out. What we didn't expect was such an elegant and cool remodeling of a mid-century modern icon, a friendly staff, and an excellent breakfast using all locally sourced ingredients.

The technology to control the room lighting and thermostat takes a few minutes to figure out.

Very unique (in a good way) hotel. Located right off I-95 with great soundproofing so you don't hear traffic. Cool technology controls the lights and shades. The front desk staff was very friendly.

The lighting controls were difficult to figure out, drove my traveling companion nuts figuring them out. We didn't eat at the restaurant but used the snack station, VERY expensive! Didn't like that our room was sort of interior and the windows were frosted over. Odd design choice.

Love the decor and efficiency of this hotel, ie, power window shades in room and thermostat. Very appealing layout and decor. This is the 2nd Tapestry collection hotel I’ve stayed in within 2 weeks and the other one was excellent too.

The (much appreciated) blinds and lighting selections are a little complicated to operate. The room was a little tight for family of three ...even though we had very little luggage.

The attention to Marcel Breuer's original design is terrific...period (now) Modernism. Finishes, fabric and furniture choices are all thoughtful and suit the architecture and era. Staff were responsive and very help. Food and drink menus inspiring and delicious. Use of glass and ceramic vessels...little to no plastic ... great. We loved the fact there was a fridge and a kettle in the room AND that three layers of window glass completely silences the traffic on Interstate 91...no mean feat. And the Marcel reports that it is the first fossil-fuel free hotel in the country! Bravo!

My daughter attends Yale so this is my go-to place to stay. I have stayed here a few times, and it never disappoints. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel is extremely clean, and the rooms are quite comfortably appointed. My daughter and I both enjoyed a fabulous dinner and breakfast in the restaurant.
