No ice cream in a resort! Seriously? The policy preventing the guest from moving about the resort with alcohol purchased in the resort was a bummer also.

The organization of the events went well, loved the timeline provided by the front desk. The variety in pools was awesome, along with the bar seats in the water.

I had a lake view room and most of it was cut off due to grass dividing the water and I was placed toward the end and it was lots of grass and trees blocking the view of the lake and I love the water but my view wasn't so beautiful.

I got charged for a smoking fee in which I never smoked. I talked to the accounting lady she was rude from the beginning of the conversation said she would call me back and never did. I then called her back she ignored my call until I left a vm. She returned the call saying she still never spoke to anyone fast forward 3 weeks later no one ever reached back out to me or returned calls. You can not charge ppl for a smoking fee and have no proof of evidence. She said housekeeping said it when they cleaned the room but no one cleaned the room throughout the whole stay so it was all a lie. You guys have got to do a better job with customer service. Before I spoke with accountant my husband asked the front desk agent to speak to a manager the guy tells us they were all in a meeting. Very ridiculous!

I didn’t like that there is only one set of guest elevators! It took forever to get to the 18th floor! There are opossums that come out at night to eat from the trash… move the bi s further away from the pool … they ran me off. I didn’t like the turf grass by the upper adult pool it seemed flooded and unsanitary also they was visible algae all around the adult pools and kid splash pad.

This property is absolutely beautiful! Can you say Island Vibes! The food was delicious, the staff was inviting, and the view was everything! I wanted a relaxing vacation and I received it! There’s a lazy River that wraps around the swim areas! So many beautiful palm trees and straw huts!

My family and I had a very nice time at the resort. The staff does a good job of keeping separation from the adult and children's area. And it was a good value for my money. Unfortunately my stay included a power outage due to a local storm. Although I think the staff handle the outage the best they could, it did put a slight damper on my vacation. Also the lazy river area had a slight odor that made us only go through it one time.

There was definitely a great resort feel while still in the state of Texas.

The breakfast service at the Chill Grill was horrendous. The food was okay and the menu was very basic. Hence my confusion when it took over 30 min to get food and coffee with just a hand full of guests in the restaurant. No activities for adults other than mini golf which had no shade or beverage station.

Check in was easy with no fuss, greeters were awesome. The food, drinks and service were great at the Landshark grill, and throughout the water park area. The room had a great view of the park and was very accommodating with a separate room ,couch and tv.

The entrance to check-in was ill designed. If you don't want to valet, then you have to park far away and walk in the heat. Also, there was no hand soap....(during Covid?). When I asked, I was provided a very small body wash. Also, there was no body wash, shampoo, or Conditioner in the shower containers that are displayed on the wall. Lastly, we checked into a King suite (a King bed and then the room has a sleepersofa) with 4 people and there were no pillows or blanket in the room for the sofa. A bit frustrating to call and still only get 1 pillow brought up.

The view was spectacular from the room (definitely would recommend picking lake view when making reservations) . Several different pool areas to choose from and it wasn't too crowded. Super cute and relaxing vibes throughout the grounds. I would definitely recommend for families or couples.

Well our room was not ready when we checked in at 4:00. They had to change our room accommodations. Then the ice machine on our floor had vomit, but this was taken care of right when I let housekeeping know.

My first trip I’ve ever taken with my children…first impression: a room with a view of valet. Uhhh…no thanks..so we switched rooms after the awesome lady at the front was able to accommodate my desire for a $300 view of the “lake”. We were super hungry so we walked over to land shark where we were seated in the first table by the door. We sat there for 20 minutes and the only service staff to acknowledge us was some lady who told my husband “that’s a cool scooter”..we ended up leaving and driving off the resort to eat dinner cause we had no other options because everything was closed and landsharj didn’t seem to know we were there. Our burgers off of 105 at Workds burgers were the best I’ve had though. I wish I was warned that the beginning of summer is still considered the off season therefore all the poolside bars and everywhere else except Joe Metchants… I basically payed $381 for a hotel room that smelt like farts and coconut slushees for a handful of hours and to throw my kids into the nastiest murkiest green lazy river. I did it for my children. Otherwise I would not have set foot in that water. It wasn’t even crowded so I don’t know why the lazy river was so gross. I wanted to have a drink by the pool but I could only get land shark (we weren’t on good terms, apparently not speaking to eachother (unbeknownst to me lol) or overpriced beer from the little cafe…I wanted a freakin mojito for the amount I paid. I regret it all. I could’ve taken a two day trip to San Antonio for the amount I spent for a stinky slushy fart hot non-working ac hotel room and a green lazy river….

I liked that my kids thought it was cool.

We hated that we missed getting to use the waterpark due to flooding. I know the weather is out of the hotel's control, but it was disappointing we weren't offered any kind of discount for the waterpark being closed.

We had Joe Merchant's for breakfast two mornings and lunch one day. Food was excellent! Service was a bit slow though.
