The “valet only” for parking was bit of a hassle. Since many people were checking out the same time, we had to wait a short while to get our car. Very very minor inconvenience.

The hotel was bright and clean. It was very lively with live music in the evening. The location was great and room was large enough to accommodate our family of 4 comfortably.

This was a nice getaway for me and my family. We loved the location, and how this newly remodeled hotel was not only so beautiful, it was clean and dog friendly, so we were able to include our furry member with our trip. Staff was friendly and enjoyed the hotel because you didn’t have to walk through a casino to exit.

It was not clean as there was hair on the nightstand. Also didn’t think the staff working at the hotel understood English or helpful. We got a handicap accessible room and the manager couldn’t change the room. Pool and hot tub was overcrowded.

It is new and it was nice to have a suite for a family.

So many hidden fees, parking was valet only @ $29 per day, rooms did not have microwave. If you wanted one is was an additional $25 per night, did not have any irons, only steamers. Seems like the new ownership is nickel and diming the guests to pay for the acquisition. Definitely will not stay here again, which is a shame because I have stayed here many times in years past. Had to switch rooms too because the heater went out in our room and wasn't comped anything.

Their wifi didn't work and they never offered a solution or discount on the room as I had to work and told them this. Their vallet stated "complimentary" on a sign at the door, but we were charged $30/day at checkout and were never told that we would be charged when accepting it.

The location was perfect and the room itself was nice.

Microwave said to be included in the room but was not, there was a $25 charge per night to use it. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT Breakfast was $30 per person, not made to order Luggage carts not available unless accompanied by staff which felt rushed and pressured. Bathroom outlets were plenty, but only one worked. There is no access to your vehicle after checking in with valet, so if you want to check if you left a wallet, glasses or charger, you are out of luck.

The size of the room was great. It was very clean. Maintenance/Housekeeping were very accommodating

shoddy dirty states of the lower section of the heater, floor, pretty dirty in those areas and then also the wood floor was not that clean when wiping it myself. And So discovered several thick pubic hairs on the floors, and in the bathroom sink and in the shower. I’ve already verbally in person, and through survey.

We had a week of back and forth messages and calls with the resort and booking since I saw the weather for our drive there was predicted to be a snow storm. I finally spoke to a customer service representative on booking on Friday and she was able to modify and send a request to resort and tell them of my need to reschedule because of storm and unsafe conditions to drive. They replied back that my booking does not have a flexible policy and the accommodation does not allow changes for this reservation. How am I supposed to drive into a storm hoping I don’t grt stuck for hours or get in an accident with my family. We loved staying at this hotel when visiting Lake Tahoe. But unfortunately this experience and service had been nothing but disappointment.

The only good thing was the room was brand new.

I stayed here because of an amazing deal I got on a travel site. The room itself was very nice; bed very comfortable, lots of space, nice bathroom, etc…there were other things about the hotel that weren’t so great - - No microwaves in any of the rooms; if you want to use one, they charge an extra $20 a night to bring one to your room. - Required $32 a day valet parking; our car actually came to us with a massive scratch on the side the second night after they brought it out, which pissed us off since valet was *required* or else there’s basically no where else to park. - Since it’s inconvenient to wait to have the valet bring your car out to you every time you want to leave (especially if there’s a long line because everyone has to valet) we tried to eat at the hotel. The cafe had one of the worst / most stale breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had for $12, and the yogurt parfait was straight sugar. I could only eat a few bites before throwing it out because I started to feel sick. It took 30 minutes for me to receive my coffee with 3 people working the cafe and only 2 others waiting for their coffee. My husband ordered an iced coffee another time, and they poured it and just let it sit in front of them behind the glass for a good 5-10 minutes without calling his name, while they stood around and talked to each other; he finally went up and interrupted them to ask for it. He also tried to order a muffin, which they said they were out of - he had to walk over to the container and point to it for them to give it to him. - The apps were also not great, and it took about 30 minutes to order after one of the younger bartenders stared at me / ignored me / walked away several times when I tried to politely call out get his attention (at the empty bar). The older bartender was nice and finally put in my order.

Housekeeping could have been a little more timely. One day they didn't come until after 4:00 p.m,. The room was really nice but could've used more bedding and towels.

For the hotel, location was perfect! Right at the state line and walking distance to casinos, shops, restaurants, etc. One evening there was a DJ playing outside with the heaters going and we enjoyed the music and food outside in the winter evening.

The staff were amazing, so helpful. I stayed at the property before the new owners took over, they have updated everything. Great place to stay.
