In my mind, these are very minor nits to pick compared to the positives, but they may be more important to others. The décor and amenities are a bit outdated, and the place feels a little run down.

Staff was super friendly, and was able to accommodate my request for a non smoking room despite only smoking rooms bookable on site on my date. Price/value was outstanding. My room was clean and comfortable. There are several restaurants and a walmart within easy walking distance.

Good location. Room layout was very good. Also it passed my cleanliness test. Walked thru the room with bare feet then get into a wet bathtub. If I see my foot prints clearly then room dirty. I did not see my foot prints. Bed comfortable.

This is my go to hotel when traveling for work in Anniston. The rooms and property are very clean. It is an older building so keep that in mind. I like supporting local mom & pop places and this one is that. If you are looking for white duvets and a fancy breakfast bar, look elsewhere but for the value this place can’t be beat. Friendly folks. Clean. Great value. Love the parking lot garden.

There is nothing I didn't like about this stay.

I enjoy my stay every time I stay here. It is close to all the places I need to visit when I come to town. The have upgraded their rooms and they are extremely nice. New shower, toilets, flooring, beds. Its GREAT.

the front desk staff were so kind. even though the building is older, the upgrades were phenomenal and you could tell the people cared about the place. The bed was comfortable there refrigerator was fantastic. I have to say because of the service and the feeling you get from the people cared I would give it a five star rating for that alone.

The heighth of the bed made it challenging for me to get on. I'm short so next time I would need to bring a foldable step stool. The bathroom is a little tight as well.

I will never stay here again. We were given a smoking room when I asked for a non smoking. The room was disgusting. There were burn holes in the blankets. Hair in the bathroom. A piece of chewed gum in the corner of the shower. A disgusting chair that needed to go in the dumpster. But the worst was the shower did not work. The water would come on but you could not change the temperature. I tried to talk to the lady - management about the problems and she would not even speak to me. Stay away from this place.

I use a cpap machine, and the only plug that I could use was actually behind the mattress. The lamp was already plugged in, but I had concern if there was an electrical short in the plug, the mattress would be easy kindling for a fire.

The extras like the loveseat and the small round table with chairs. Also the little bar that separated the bathroom area. This place just happened to be very close to the people I was visiting.

My room was dirty when I came into it. There was dirt on the floor in it the bathroom and where the sink is. Also the tub was broken they had it patched with some sort of tape and glue.

There was no breakfast but the location was in a good spot it was only a couple minutes from Walmart
