Some Damprid packets hung or Fabreeze Odor Remover sprayed when cleaning might improve the smell.

It was a small nice family owned business. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. We had no control on the heat, but when we asked the owner to turn it up they very nicely complied, also provided an extra blanket. Our room had been renovated and was nicely done although the bedspreads smelled a little like mildew. Great internet and tv reception. There was no coffee maker in the room,but was available in the office.

The McGregor Inn was exactly as listed on the website. No complaints whatsoever. It was spotless and room included a mini-fridge with a freezer, working a/c and soap and shampoo. On-site owners were extremely friendly and welcoming and gave me access to the room early. There was a bar/restaurant right across the street which was very convenient, and three recommended restaurants within a short distance. I was there for only one night (very short stay), but would not hesitate to stay again in the future.

Easy and convenient access, friendly owner, spotless. It's an older motel, however, it is absolutely spotlessly clean! comfortable beds, clean linen's and a compact proper fridge with a separate freezer compartment.

Only wish it were closer to our family, but of course you can’t pick it up and move it,

We were very satisfied with the our stay here. The cost was low compared to others and when you ar3 traveling to visit family all you ask for is a clean and well run inn. Hats off to the owners for providing an excellent facility for that occasion.🤗

The room was very clean. It was complete with air conditioning which was a major plus. The staff was very friendly and offered suggestions. The location was quiet but within a short driving distance of the places we wanted to go.

Shower is only a stall--watch your elbows! Soda machine not working, my only complaint--I somehow lived through it.

Good location as it was well out of SS and in a less congested area. Room was small--but it had everything I needed and everything worked. Room looked recently freshly painted. Only 10 units, all in a row--so you could park directly in front of your room! Was originally going to stay at a hotel directly in SS but could not get on-line site to finalize reservation. I was able to reserve at McGregor for $100 LESS PER NIGHT than the original site (and most everything else I was looking at either had no rooms available or was as expensive or much more)--so I saved $200 staying at McGregor. I would stay there again and highly recommend. All staff were friendly and helpful.

There was nothing about this stay that we did not like!

This room was perfect for our one night in town to see a show at SPAC. The owners were extremely welcoming and gave us some helpful tips for our stay. The room was nice and clean and the coffee in the morning was a bonus! We hope to return.

No complaints

Owners Jeff and Gail are both so sweet and helpful. My car broke down in their parking lot and a tow truck had to come. They went out of their way to try to help me find a mechanic since I'm from out of state. The grounds have nice gardens and there is a pub across the street. The room was clean and welcoming. There are restaurants nearby and fresh coffee every morning. I will definitely visit again if I'm in the area.
