Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesOpen the balconies. Get better coffee and don’t charge for it.
The breakfast was fine; the coffee too strong—and I usually like strong coffee. We couldn’t sit on our balcony because the city had condemned it. The pool was nice and the ocean was beautiful. We also saw a night rocket launch that flew right past the hotel—terrific! The hotel was well situated for all our activities. Staff was friendly and responsive.

United StatesThe balconies were all under construction so we were unable to access our balcony. Other than that, we were pleased.
The hotel staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful. They were able to accommodate our request of an upper floor, which we loved. And, for a small fee, they were able to give a later than usual checkout since my ceremony was in the early evening and I wouldn't have had a place to change.

NorwayToo bad the balconies were closed off, hope they will fix it. Air condition very noisy, but working. The whole property is a bit dated, unfortunately. But I would stay there again if I'm in the area.
Perfect location right on the beach. Spacious rooms, with refrigerator and coffee maker. Good sized pool, not heated though. Close to shops and restaurants. I recommend Texas Roadhouse!

United KingdomRooms are suffering from the sea air and starting to look a bit tired. Balconies out of use. A little pricey bearing in mind it was the same price as the Bellagio.
The view from the room was out of this world, right on the beachfront. The staff were exceptional, the friendliest of our whole trip (thanks Brian!). Located next to some food options.

United StatesReally did not like that the balcony was not usable. The bathroom needs updating and a grab bar for us older guests. The dogs barking constantly below our room was annoying.
Room size is excellent. Good breakfast. location good. The staff is top notch. A special shout out to Brian and Joshua at the front desk. Brian was especially welcoming.
