How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

TV has static and bad signal so you can’t really watch any television. Toilet/plumbing notices and the aircon is noisy. They placed me on a low 4th floor looking out on the store roof so very noisy
Convenient location for a short one night stay. Not a tourist location, has what you need although old and needs updating. Clean and insect free so reasonable for the price

In our room the faucet was broken - so there was no cold water, coffee machine didn't work properly, window curtain is torn down. No breakfast
Hotel is good for the price. Great location, free parking. Safe, clean, and mostly quiet

The staff is poor, the front desk female attendant was arguing with a resident of the hotel and about to fight AND there seemed to be an older lady that’s is also a resident that kept coming down daily speaking to random people about God and she told her off multiple times. And when I checked in there was a mysterious girl in the lobby asking people to help her get a room or if she could shower in your OWN ROOM. Certain things were creepy and out of order. And the supposed restaurant they advertised was closed the entire time and the room itself needed to get updated/renovated. And my room had another room attached. Thankfully, I had my hotel safety gadgets with me because I didn’t feel the most at ease the first night…but great location otherwise
It is conveniently located by the highway and around great shops and eateries

It was a nicer hotel - about 50 years ago. Very dated. The mattresses seemed to not have updated since it was first opened.

This time it reeked of mildew/mold smell. The room was clean….but the smell was so heavy I couldn’t breathe and had a headache. I will say however staff offered another room with no problem. Unfortunately that room had the same issue and the door was broken. I ended up leaving. I appreciate the staff staying professional the entire time and also offering a full refund. I would still try this hotel again. Hopefully they do some upgrades soon
I have stayed here before and didn’t have a problem. The location is convenient, staff is always exceptional, and hotel Guests are pleasant

Restaurant was down, elevator was down, no security on-site (was checking out and there was a verbal altercation at the front). I didn’t want to go out there because I didn’t know how hostile the situation was and went to the front desk. The person was actually sleep and I had to wake them up and say what is happening in front of the hotel.

Unpleasant signs like “My hotel, my rules" at the reception should be removed. It is not very hospitable. The floors in the room are dirty. Employees ignore the "Do not disturb" plate. We were surprised when the employee came in while we were sleeping. When we hung up the sign "Need cleaning," on the contrary, they didn't clean up. It smells like weed everywhere, although you can't smoke here. In general, it is a typical hotel, good enough for couple nights. Nobody here do not know what mean “Service”, as in many other hotels in the US.
Absolutely standard hotel. A lot of towels. Quick check-in. The rooms are the same as in the photo.
