Prepaid a week but I check in wait 30 minutes for them to figure out if they could get me a room as reservations had canceled my reservation even though I had paid on full.

The outside was I assume but the rooms were pretty decently setup

There is a bar downstairs that played hip hop music from about noon until late evening. Sometimes the people in the courtyard where pretty loud so we had to we had to run the fan on continuous all night. The sink in the kitchen was a bathroom fixture and there wasn't a dishwasher, so it was a challenge to wash dishes. The pots and pans should have been thrown away, we didn't use them. The platform bed was comfortable, but the fabric headboard and sides were very worn. There were actually recovering them as we saw them reupholstering other headboards and frames behind the courtyard. Listening to the nail gun going off wasn't great.

The room had a view of the courtyard which was nice. There were green parrots that flew in regularly to roost in the large tree. The kitchen had a full size fridge and oven. The location was near lots of restaurants, shops and the beach. There were several places to buy groceries and other essentials. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our toaster didn't work properly, and they brought us a replacement the same day. The TV remote was also not working, they replaced the battery as soon as we brought it to their attention.

There is not a single hook for clothes in the room, not a single hanger, or a closet for clothes. The bedroom has a niche with an open wardrobe with three shelves where you can put clothes in a pile. The only thing is in the cabinet under the TV, where there are yes drawers for small things. There are two (rather old) TVs in the room, the display is bad (ripples). Remotes from other TV models - one does not work at all, the other can only switch channels and change the volume, the rest of the functions do not work. The view from the room is bad (the roof of the neighboring building has pipes). The sofa in the living room is intended for sleeping, but it is extremely difficult to disassemble and assemble. The doors from the living room to the bedroom and from the bedroom to the toilet are glass, and when someone turns on the light in one room, it becomes impossible to sleep in the other. There are no dark curtains or thick blinds on the windows, and the light from the street makes it difficult to sleep. Sometimes at night the hoods of the neighboring building, where the windows face, make noise. There is no dishwasher in the room (although the description on the website says that there is). The description of the room says that there is a safe, but you need to ask for it separately at the reception - then they will bring it and install it. The kitchen faucet was leaking. We reported this to the reception, but during the 6 days we stayed at the hotel it was never fixed.

The hotel provides a free taxi upon arrival from the airport. The beach is very close to the hotel (5 minutes). The hotel provides towels for the beach. There are a great variety of restaurants and shops around. The room is cleaned every day (although not very thoroughly). The hotel manager Jose Pita is an extremely responsive and responsible person, he personally sent us via UPS a parcel with things we forgot in our room.

The beds were horrible. A bathroom sink in the kitchen. Safety issue with access to the courtyard for anyone; our room was in the courtyard. The bar is now used by another company The bar patrons could use the courtyard.

A lot of small broken things like shelf, cupboard door etc. Missing toiletries and room cleaning like bed making, not done fully during stay.

The pool is just a tub, the living part of the room was missing light with just a small window, several power plugs not operative, kitchen in bad condition, Cleaning was supposed to be made every 3 days, we had to claim several times after 5 then 7 days to get it cleaned. High price compare to the quality, but reasonnable versus peers, it is south Beach during high season...

No cleaning or dish soap in kitchen, check-in process slow, lack of luggage storage was a concern. Door to room had a noticeable gap between door jam and top left corner. Noise from construction down hallway echoed into room (could be from 3in open air gap in door frame). Toilet paper holder and glass shelf in bathroom were not square and poorly hung (loose). Uneven set of forks, plates, cups in kitchen when room was reset. Only 1 k-cup pod and no sugar or salt/pepper avail. (Basics). Misleading website, needs update - the restaurant attached is Fat Tuesdays, loud music and bar food. :(

Newly remodeled corner suite, proximity to attractions, value for 1 night stay, good use of mirrors, new tile, kitchenette, shower & modern decorations in 1 bedroom. Garden/patio area was nice to wait until early check-in avail.

The only thing I would say is that parts of the kitchen were not as clean as they should have been in my opinion. We were only there for one night so did not need the use of the oven and hob etc. but if we had, I would have had to say something to reception. The crockery and cutlery were very clean so this did not impact every part of the kitchen at all. Other than this, it was just perfect for what we needed.

The lady who checked us in on 13th Nov was really kind and helpful, so "thank you" for that. She made every effort to and did accommodate our requests. We had a 2 bedroomed suite where it was very spacious and the bedrooms were very clean with extremely comfortable beds and cotton bedding.

The head board looks tacky, it's peeling. There were a few tiny spiders in the kitchen.

We slept in on the breakfast never got the chance to try. The location is perfect.

Homeless outside yelling until 4am! Pool was tiny and not inviting. The bar and restaurant was good when open. The front entry seating and back outside lounge was dirty.

Easy walk to the beach, stores, food. Reasonable price as a motel.

The wait for door lock be fix. Several other guests had same issue.

Room location was great. We just weren't able get into our room. There was some type of key loc issue. Maintenance had come fix when entering. It was extremely hot waiting.
