Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. United StatesThe overall experience is not pretty, bed was full of the dogs hair.Blanket and towels were not so clean, I had to use it as I forgot to bring my own. Room is pretty cold as the room heater not work very well. room is not as bright as the pictures given.

United StatesThe whole house is one big bedroom. There is no common area to speak of. There are even bunks in the kitchen, ridiculous. Also imagine if all the bunks we're full... There's six beds in the kitchen living area and twelve more and one more. That's 19 people and one bathroom. That's unrealistic and smacks of outright fraud. On my first day there a North Miami code enforcement officer was putting a notice on the property. I wonder for what? Also there's only really room for 4 vehicles on the property and then your parked in the front yard.
Location is convenient to I 95. A good place to stay of you want to see Miami on the cheap.

United StatesI wish that other people would clean there dishes after they used them. The fridge had a lot of left over food in it that definitely needed to be cleaned out but you don’t know what people are using so you can’t decide wether or not it can be thrown out without someone’s permission. There was no tv at the hostel I presume because someone misused it or broke it and the couch’s in the living room were slightly uncomfortable.
The place was run by very nice people. The facility was clean compared to other facilities but as there are many people going in and out daily it gets slightly dirty. There can always be more cleaning but it was satisfactory. I understand they wouldn’t be able to have people cleaning every day so it was nice to see the day I left that people came in to deep clean.

BrazilFor starters it was completely different from the picture, the staff wasn’t ready to receive us, it was really dirty and smelled like pee and weed. I couldn’t understand if the people who were there were staying at the hostel or were employees. The location was a disaster, in the middle of nowhere. Me and my friend decided to leave and book another hotel because we couldn’t face staying there. Horrible situation, felt worried for my safety.
