Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Booked for proximity to PHL airport, wasn’t expecting a palace but it is in definite need of updating/cleaning… front desk did not respond to email inquiry about late arrival airport shuttle. Turns out that it runs 24/7. Room was meh, yucky carpet, bathroom was pretty run down. Have seen worse, but this wasn’t a “Wyndham” typical property. Bed was ok. Seemed clean but I didn’t dare look too close.

United StatesI didn't like the fact that I had to have $150 incidental hold on my card when the facilities clearly have been damaged by many. The pictures online look nothing like the rooms when you actually get into them. They were very small and quite cramped. A lot of the lighting didn't work. There were burn holes and stains all over the carpet and the cushion that line the window which you should be able to sit on. But I covered it because it was so dirty I didn't even want my suitcase on it. Thankfully it was just to stay for a layover and then we were gone I would have been highly highly upset had I booked this hotel for two nights.
I like the distance that it was from the airport. And I was very happy that it had 24-hour shuttle service.

When I walked in the staff was super friendly and was an amazing smell… I have zero complaints about the staff I walked in supper stressed because I was displaced. I loved that I was able to wash my clothes b4 checkout.

United StatesHowever, at check in the front desk attendant guy was very rude to me. And there was no complementary breakfast the whole wknd due to a license issue at the facility. In which Microtel did not inform us ahead of time nor did they offer a discount due to this issue! I also had to clean my own room when i arrived. This was finger prints and dust over the bed and in the bathroom.
The location and scenery around the Microtel was great.

United StatesI was unable to arrange the shuttle from the car rental place. I called a few times and ended up having to take a taxi. The coffee maker would only work in the bathroom outlet and I had to put the unit on the floor. The elevator was kind of dirty, so I was worried that I made a mistake picking that hotel, but the room was fine.
Location was perfect and the shuttle to the airport was great. The room was nice and clean and comfortable.

PanamaRoom was a bit dated, noticed some mold in the bathroom and dusty around the bed while trying to access electric outlets.
The location was great, not fafe from the local train station. The shuttle driver was very attentive and I was given a phone number to call when we were ready to be picked up.
