The area with the ice machine on my level needed better daily cleaning. Not much for breakfast and that area was very small.

Nice size room. Comfortable bed. Good blackout drapes. No carpet. I could walk to Cracker Barrel. Staff was great! I also loved the filtered water dispensers on each floor.

The check in process was a headache. We were at the property when the website said we could check in but were told we couldn't check in for another hour or two because they didn't have the room ready. Normally not a problem but after traveling all day it was really disappointing.

A bit busy, lots of people, but I was able to park. In my room could hear some some strange noises at night like running water. Toilet got tanked, I hope it is just by chance, no maintenance trouble otherwise.

Nice clean property in a good shape. The staff was kind and responsive, late check in was smooth. Breakfast was good. The location is quiet and very close to the highway.

As consumers, the majority of us understand maintaining a Hotel business is not easy, but there are things that could discourage people from coming back, and the smell of mold is one of them. Which usually comes from the Ptac/A/C/Heating/Air conditioning/filter/condenser that needs to be cleaned with condenser spray.

The water pressure was better than the last time we stayed on the third floor, but this time we stayed on the first floor, just because we had no other options due to the fact the receptionist could not find a room without carpet on any other floor beside the first floor.

When I got to the hotel, they had already run a preauthorization for one night. Not a problem. I was then given the total for the 2nd night and the $50 security deposit, parking fee and booking fee. I guess I did not read the fine print to know about the security deposit, parking fees and booking fees but still ok. When he actually ran the card though he included the charge for the first night as well. That was not in the balance he gave me and that put me over my budget. I chose them because it is a nice hotel but budget friendly at the same time. I was upset as I had already paid the first night and was charged again. He said it was just a pre-auth.. But by charging it twice in the same day, it put my acct negative. He said it would be fixed at midnight and the pre-auth would fall off. I was still upset and he tried to "fix" it by charging me for just one night but this put me further in the hole. It was not fixed the next morning and so I had to move money around in my accts so I was not charged by my bank for being negative. I had enough money for my stay but not with the way they did it. The extra funds were returned to my acct after I checked out the following day, within 30 minutes actually but it caused alot of unnecessary grief for me. I know they do a pre-authorization, that alone was not the issue. The issue for me was doing it on the day of arrival and not deducting it from my total due and then trying to fix it by charging me again for one night. I have used Microtel in other locations and have not had the issues I did there. As a chain, I do like Microtel.

The gentleman that ran the breakfast was very nice, helpful and friendly. He started our day out right!!

The elevator had some kind of problem. I got stuck on the ground floor for about 5 minutes. Not good!

Breakfast was super early didn’t last long Air conditioner didn’t really work Toilet had a big crack in it and every time you sat down to use it, it would pinch your thigh or butt

The location was very nice as well as the staff. It had a nice feel in the lobby and didn’t have to worry about a lot of noise even though kids were staying there as well

windows leaked,had ants. Room was meant to sleep 4 we were 3 ,why would you only have towels and wash clothes for 2 ?? I’ve been using booking.com for years and this is the first time the hotel had additional fees that were added to booking.com total. I was charged a fee for using booking.com.

When we entered the room, we noticed the toilet had been used by someone prior, and there was a brownish-colored spot on the linen at the head of the bed near the window, one of the pillows had what appeared to be a blood stain on it, and the remote for the TV did not work properly.

All that I have to say is, that my family and I were okay with the Hotel. We know that no one is perfect. Therefore, we did not expect anything to be perfect. Thank you for your service at the last minute.
