The facility was clean and the staff is always very nice. There is no breakfast but the Java Cafe next door is wonderful! We stay for an event close by every year and the staff is so accommodating and the free parking is a huge plus in San Francisco

It's a strange layout of rooms and parking, but we managed. However, the area where you check in...just awful!!! It looked like a "by the hour" lobby with a glass partition and a speaking hole. Which did not help when the surly, rude man behind the counter was checking me in. I could not understand him. Maybe I interrupted his nap! He should never be upfront for guests to interact with him!!!

Good value for the price. Room was comfortable and clean. Nice bright bathroom. This room was remodeled, so most everything was new-ish, except for the bathtub, which should have been replaced when the new tile surround was done. There is pizza next door and next to them a coffee shop.

Rooms that are next to the Irish Cultural Center experience loud music and voices into the night. No fault of the hotel, however.

At first, the gentleman at the front desk was not super nice but by the third day, he actually smiled and loosened up a bit. We met his mom who lives on the property and she is the sweetest woman. The housekeepers were very nice and did a great job the first day however the second day they only cleaned half of our room? We’re thinking they just got called away and forgot to come back?

The location of this property is amazing. It’s a good value for the price. It was very clean. The ocean was within a two minute walking distance, and the zoo is right across the street. The Irish cultural center is right behind it, which was why we came to San Francisco for a book signing event that was there. I love the area. The George zoo Deli right next-door makes amazing sandwiches and fresh cookies. They also have a great variety of wines and beverages. The staff at the deli were also super nice. The café next-door had the best butterscotch coffee, which I bought one daily and walked to the beach in the morning. I would definitely return.

In the many times we've stayed here, the owners/staff have not been particularly welcoming or rude, just seem like they want to the care of things simply and quickly. On this recent stay however, we had an issue shortly after checking in where the toilet flusher was stuck and it would not flush, and when we went to let the man working up front know, he seemed to think we were making it up and told us it had not been reported by the person who stayed before us. He became very irritated when we insisted it was not working and we needed a working toilet, and even seemed irritated after he fixed the issue. It was a simple fix and we never asked to be moved to a different room, just wanted a working toilet. His rudeness was very stressful for us and we will be staying elsewhere. It's not worth the money we saved staying there.

I have stayed here many times with family members and it has always been comfortable, quiet, and pretty clean. It's not super close to major destinations in the city but the neighborhood is nice and it is close to the ocean.

The unit did not have fully functioning appliances (the stove top had 1 functioning burner...) - they also did not provide any cutlery, cookware, or dishes... The unit included a kitchen but nothing to utilize it with...

The room was very spacious and the property was in an ideal location for our event: Outside Lands SF

Staff was pretty rude. The man gave dirty looks and had a bit of an attitude. I also tried to return my key in the middle of the night, and no staff was in sight. I even tried to ring the little doorbell that I have available, but I was not able to return my key to anyone in person. I had to leave it on the desk.

Good room. Refurbished. Great bathroom, very comfortable beds. Nice couch, good TV. Front desk folks were great. Mary actually called me in PA, without prompting, just to confirm a request I placed online. Location chosen due to proximity of a relative I was visiting. Last trip I made the mistake of staying at the dreaded Rodeway. I would have been better off sleeping on the floor of the Bus terminal. The Mirage is a great value. You will not be disappointed! I will be back! (Pics on Booking are good & accurate.

The TV was the smallest TV 30”. There wasn’t any cutlery or dishes in the kitchen. The WiFi dropped out constantly

The location across from the beach and zoo . Java Beach Cafe right on the corner. Also, pizza next door. Not a lot of food places within walking distance. Lucky grocery up the road. The bathroom was updated and very nice. We stayed in deluxe room with kitchen .
