Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Walked us to room which was wired...than asked not to walk next to rooms and to walk in parking lot back to room from office because room did not have to let paper and this was only 10:30 pm... because other guest were sleeping... There was only 4 cars in parking lot.. lol what sucked most is heater blew cool air... 🥶🥶

United StatesThere is nothing that I don't like about this place. I sound like a relative of the owners, but I am not!
I stay at the Desert Inn every time I'm in Mojave, if they are not sold out. The owners are excited to see me, remember my name and are as genuine as any business owner you'll ever meet. The place is old, but spotless, because the owners have pride in their place. The AC blows cold. The ice machine is packed with ice. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom recently remodeled. I love this place.

The owners and staff were very friendly. They helped us take our suitcases from the car to the room. When the ice machine wasn't giving ice. The owner went and provided us with ice. I felt that was extra special of them. I've never had this kind of service at a motel. The room was large and came with a microwave and small refrigerator.
