Initially the room given (8) was ridiculously small and adjacent to industrial sized washing machine , small double bed and I am a 6 ft 240lb man. Not at all the room or bed shown in your photos. This was booked at $1000 for 3 nights ! We decided that we couldn’t stay there and asked if other rooms were available. Upgraded to a two room two bed suite that was very pleasant but $1500 for 3 nights !

The staff recovery was good , the second room was very pleasant , with great outlook. The Malloy has a superb location and has a private beach area separated by some small grassy dunes with hammocks and beach chairs. The small pool is heated . It feels relaxed.

small room, small uncomfortable double bed. AC was noisy and not very efficient, towel bar missing in shower, hot water barely worked and water pressure was very bad, not enough places to hang towels or bathing suits. The toilet moves when you sit on it. Parking, when main lot is full (the whole time we were there) you have to park across the street and carrying all your belongings across the street proved to be a little dangerous and tedious. something you hope to avoid by booking on the beach side.

Location, right on the beach! Staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. The property between the hotel and public beach was beautiful. Great place to lay out and relax. plenty of sunning chairs. Just beautiful! Again I can’t compliment the staff enough they were great. We were in room 17A, room was decorated cute with nice tile floors, however it has NOT been renovated as other rooms have and it needs some love.

our unit was not fully updated. the bathroom in particular could use a major face lift. our electricity went out for a few hours which was an inconvenience that was not rectified. I know it wasn’t the property’s fault, but still should have been compensated for the inconvenience. the pull out couch was uncomfortable and a tv in the bedroom would have been appreciated.

the outdoor lounge area was beautiful, however the pool was never in full sun and the area around the pool was not ideal for hanging out.

Our room was tiny. Not that big of a deal, but we were given just 2 plates, bowls, cups, utensils and had nowhere to wash them nor did we know that they would not be replaced. I was not expecting to have the room cleaned only once in 7 days. We wound up buying plastic utensils. I would definitely recommend at least an every other day cleaning of the room.

Loved all of the outdoor amenities - grills, hammocks, proximity to the beautiful sandy beach, pool. Breathtaking sunset and views. Truly amazing!

Poor to absent wifi in my room. Noisy area outside my room - use of washers and dryers during sleeping times.

I liked having a microwave, refrigerator, toaster in the room. The staff was exceptional - friendly and helpful

The rooms are renovated and look lovely, but the grouts and little corners on the floor should be looked at again. Would have prefered 1 kingsize bed over 2 twins. Would have hoped to have a wide selection of restaurants withing walking distance.

We were in one of the older units: the kitchen cabinets (no dishwasher) and bathroom needed to be renewed - still all useable. The motel is from the 1940s - so it cannot be all new. The floors were lovely, new tiles, the furniture comfortable and the linens clean. They seemed to be renovating so for the price ... it was fine - no complaints whatsoever.

Loved the pool and easy access to the beach. Had their equipment to use the gas grill but never had time. Wonderful easy walk to Publix for groceries. The staff were always helpful and friendly. They even refunded the night's stay we did not use. So hats off for being correct.

I loved that this simple place was on the beach. the motel faced away from the street so you enter rooms on the backside which feels a little safer. The room I stayed in was a suite with a kitchenette and living room, which was spacious enough for me to do some work during this time. I loved the hammocks and the beach chairs, although dragging them back and forth to the beach was a workout haha. It was good. I didn't use the pool and although small, it looked like just enough since the gulf water was relatively cold this time of year. The wifi worked well for all my work/zoom calls as well as for personal on my phone. The kitchen is minimally stocked and I bought a couple of things to make it work better for me as I made breakfasts and lunches here. The bed was firm but actually comfortable. Unfortunately I found all the pillows to be uncomfortable and cheap. The sound of the cars on the street didn't bother me surprisingly and it quieted down at night so it was pretty quiet all around to sleep here. Not sure how it would be at high travel times with lots of people staying here. I found the place to be decently clean, but I have high standards for cleanliness. The staff was great and totally friendly. Overall I would totally stay here again and recommend it. It was exactly what I needed in my price range and was convenient for me. It's on the beach, supermarket within walking distance, lots of restaurants and ice cream parlor in TI and nearby.

There was no jacuzzi, It appeared that they removed one and did not replace it. Also, they were renovating some of the rooms and their was a lot of noise during the day while they were sawing wood and cutting tile. I understand that it is difficult to renovate a working motel, however, there should have been some notification to us that this would be going on.

Downside is the water pressure in the shower and the size of the pool/proximity to the rooms (too close) There wasn't a pan for the oven (I packed one of mine and it was still too big) have a more stocked kitchen would be nice as well as offering water in the fridge.

Location and private beach before the main beach is great. Love that its a smaller facility and that its been updated. Loved that we had the ability to use chairs and towels down at the beach. Super convenient location with the ability to walk to so many locations for shopping/food.

It’s an older property that’s been remodeled. The room was very nice, but the tub was still old and peeling and didn’t drain well.

The location was excellent. Walk out the door and out to the beach. They had beach chairs you could drag down to the beach with you. They’re heavy to drag 500ft, but since we were staying one night after a week at Universal, we didn’t bring our own, so it was nice to have them available.
