Our room lock battery was low when we arrived and we couldn't get in. We reached out and they said they would send someone. We don't know if anyone ever came but the lock wasn't reliable, we used the backup key option for the rest of the trip.

I wanted to open the bathroom window for ventilation, but it was dark when we arrived and I wasn’t sure what was in the back since we were ground level. Also, there were a few things that were not there as advertised.

Love the swanky style.I wish we could have stayed longer. We only stayed one night due to an emergency we were driving to AZ. Not a party place, but a nice adult chill hotel with history.

No front desk nor lobby to buy essentials. There was a coffee machine in the room but there was no water. The place could be bit more personalized. Jacuzzi was out of service.

It had the charme and style of a 60’s Palm Springs Hotel that I was looking and hoping for. Absolutely LOVED IT!

Our room seemed to be the only one without chairs outside of it, the ice machine was broken the whole time we were there and there was amazon boxes stacked up all in the common area. Could have done with some more exciting/aesthetically pleasing pool floaties. Pool towels were hard to find on our first few days. Our room decor was a little odd. Adding a filtered water machine somewhere would be a great improvement.

Loved that they had bikes that you can use, the ping pong table and firepit we're also great. The toiletries we're great quality. liked the touch of the make up towels. ample towels and bins provided. liked the decor of the bathroom. Sun loungers were very comfortable. Gifts left at check-in we're a nice touch.

The bathroom is extremely small and there is not much room to leave your staff.

Room was spacious and comfortable. The facility is located in a quiet neighborhood! The pool is heated and clean.

we would have liked a vending machine with some snacks. there were 2 bags of free snacks in the room though which was nice.

AvantStay staff were helpful and responsive even while remote, but we missed the benefits and convenience of having more onsite support. Room cleaning was not included in the room rates (we survived without it, but having one's room serviced is a great benefit of staying at a hotel). And a small nit: the Jacuzzi was extremely hot (despite the staff's efforts to reduce the temperature).

I love that the property is smaller so you don’t have to haul all your stuff around a large property. It’s a lot more intimate and quiet and tranquil. Love the retro style of the place!

Location wasn't walking distance to Downtown area but it wouldn't prevent me from staying there again.

Could have been a little cleaner. Had to clean a prominent brown mark off the chair. The shower didn't work well, needed the head cleared and a sliding door was falling off it's hinges.

Loud from planes flying overhead… made it tricky to sleep in. Shower head was clogged from mineral build up. Did not like the check in process. Scanning my face seemed invasive.
