Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesI didn't feel like I got much value from my stay. The resort offers a lot, but nothing is included with your stay. The pool is too small to accommodate the amount of people staying there, and having the bar ON THE POOL is terrible! Kids swimming next to alcohol containers, moms drinking with their babies in their hands was terrifying. My family didn't want to spend 250 dollars to get into the private beach and aquarium, so we spent our time at the $15 beach (I can bring all my stuff there, no fuzz). The one time I tried to get food from the hotel, I waited 1.5 hours to get a single, low quality pizza. When I arrived at the hotel, I was impressed by the main lobby. It's stunning. However this does not spread throughout the hotel rooms. Upper floors need remodeling, and so do the rooms: beds are very noisy, bathroom door hinges were rusty, tub faucet leaked, and coffee supplies were very shy. I get the same value from Red Roof, for a fraction of the cost. I was just very disappointed that even after paying a premium, I didn't get much more value for my money. I probably won't be staying here again.

SingaporeI guess it's a bit far from downtown. So you must take your car to see the peer or go to the grocery shop. There is no free water in the room (9$ bottles sold in the room). Coffee machine in the room could use an upgrade (the model leaves a bit of coffee grains in the glass) but I still think that having a coffee machine in the room is a plus rather than a minus. Centralized AC is noisy (old?) and blows directly onto our beds, so we switched it off. Windows do not open so we were lucky to not be in a very hot season.
The pyramids are great to keep you busy for a day or 2 and we enjoyed the boat tour. Every pyramid attraction is walking distance from the hotel. There are 2 restaurants inside the hotel. We only went to the one downstairs. Its simple but good and and staff is very kind. Staff is limited for waiters and I guess in the kitchen too, so you need to be a bit patient. It takes a while to get served. But this did not really bother us because we were having a good time in good company. Kids really enjoy the bouncy castle outside and the games. Indoor pool is really a great facility when it rains and during cold season. There is also an outdoor pool. Close to neighboor attractions (water games, zip line (?) And beach front. I like that the stay was inclusive of services like parking and wifi. You can connect your google comcast or your netflix to the tv. This is very convenient

United StatesThere were no flowering shrubs and trees like they usually have. I was very disappointed. Also, the flower beds needed weeding and mulch. The pillows were too big to sleep on. They gave us 4 big pillows. They should have had 2 of them flatter. I had a very hard time going to sleep. Given these considerations, the price was way too high.

Room was large and comfortable. Nice view of the pyramids. Staff were friendly and helpful with transit to the cruise terminal the next morning.

United StatesNoisy techno boom boom boom until 11pm on pyramid, pool side. I actually upgraded the room for this view without realizing the noise. Would not stay on this side of the hotel ever again. Also, bring your own pillow as the one's provided are big and puffy.

United StatesKinda bummed that the breakfast buffet was only on weekends. From a management view I understand the cost versus guests would equal a ton of wasted food. There is the option to order from the table. I graded this super hard and somewhat selfish, but the breakfast buffet was that good.
I booked this through booking.com. After booking I read more reviews, I started to get worried as many were not favorable. To our surprise, we did not experience any of the complaints that we read. The water was hot and good water pressure, the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful and clean. We would absolutely stay at this hotel again. The value for money paid was more than fair. (We stayed here the week before spring break). Oh, and the beds are above average (unlike some reviews stated.)
