The rooms overall was clean with an exception of the vents. Other than that just not the newest but overall good!

The property was well kept and easy parking for 1 vehicle per room

A few small 1/2 inch round holes in the wall where the bed lamps had bee previously mounted -- these could be patched / painted.

Pleasant check in, even though I arrived very late at night. Room was clean, towels clean, didn't hear any trains. It's right on highway 54, so of course there is a bit of traffic noise. Nice stay; recommend. (FYI two sheriffs were busy pulling people over for speeding on the main street running through town.)

It's right on the highway, but we were in a hurry to get where we were going, so that was also a plus.

This is an economical, no-frills place that was great for one night while passing through. The beds were firm and comfortable. The room was clean. The staff were amiable.

World's smallest bar of soap! Like other reviews state, the building clearly shows its age, but it offers everything a traveler needs for a one night stay along the road.

We love this rural route through Kansas, avoiding cities & driving through amazing rolling gypsum hills and agricultural landscape. On a route where lodging is scarce, this aging little motel is a welcome stopover. It's an interesting mixture... the building is obviously old & worn out, but our room was very clean with fresh new carpet, furniture, and vanity top. Good TV, fridge & microwave, parking right outside our door, & proximity key entry. Breakfast was very minimal, but appropriate at this price.

Moon Mist is an older hotel, but clean and comfortable. The price is excellent. It is in a very small town in western Kansas, but for a brief, overnight stay, it was a good room at a good price.

Place is run down looking, the room phones didn't work and the cable wasn't working in one room. They did get on after awhile. All the eating places in town close by 9pm.

The breakfast was a letdown. I was expecting a regular breakfast (from the online ad) so the continental was disappointing. With the missing shingles on the roof, I wondered if it leaked, but the room was fine, and the bed was comfortable.

Adequate for a short overnight, not extended stay, unless you're on a tight budget. Dated room/facilities.

Decent for an inexpensive overnight stay while traveling and your travel day needs to end. In our case, we arrived at midnight and left at 6:30 am. Clean with a comfortable bed. Very pleasant staff.

Our air conditioning unit kept kicking off in the middle of the night on our last night there. I'm not sure if it was just because of the heat outside or if it was just starting to fail. Other than that the room served our needs for our stay and we will stay again the next time we come to town.

Our room was nice, the beds were okay, and the fridge and microwave in the room worked just fine even though they were a little dated. We will definitely stay again the next time we go to visit family.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean and nicely furnished, and the bed was comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again.
