Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe very hot guest lobby, hallways and rooms. They even charge a hotel deposit of $50 before you check in.
The hotel is possibly under construction. The guest lobbyand floor hallways are hot. The room is hot as well. It took a long time for our room to get cool. The staff was vey courteous in trying to get us accommodated. It is simply not ready or safe for guest to be in due to the renovations.

The second time I stayed they required a second $50 deposit even though they still had my first one and had not returned it to me. I told the desk clerk I don’t like that and I will not be returning. if you’ve STILL GOT MY 50 BUCKS I don’t need a second deposit.

Canadadirty towel hanging off the shower curtain a dead bug behind the bathroom door. The floor seemed dirty and sticky in spots did see crumbs as well. They said they don’t supply soap but gee no hand soap either.

United States. .Had a water leak from the room Above us and soaked the end of the bed. Had to keep the wet sheets on the bed because the laundry room was locked and every room was booked so we had to stay. Couldn't get clean towels because had to use ours to soak up the water. They didn't offer to adjust or compensate for this situation but like I said everything was booked and we were paid for another 4 days. Still there due to personal issues we are still here

Unfortunately, I was in a room next to several MX males who seemed unaware of customary motel rules -- no loud noises, loud talk, loud laughing after 10 pm or before 7 am. I got both. They acted as if their room was their personal man cave. I was extra tired and didn't appreciate all the loud talk and laughter.
